Thanks Shellandscott and Iggipolka for posting about the EMH in June. I hadn't even thought to look yet. Now we can start planning in earnest!
Made my chart tonight..started with which park to go to/avoid from Touring plans..then the EMH..now for the best part..the meals!!

I saw that too. You really have to love AK to want to wake up early that many days in a row

I forgot my manners-I want to say THANK YOU too for posting the link for EMH. I was starting to worry. I only want to plan 1 or 2 things, but the 180 day mark was getting kinda close.

I'm still trying to convince DH to go at the end of June. He thinks it will be too hot and the crowds huge. I can't imagine the crowds being any worse than April (school vacation) The heat on the other hand....yikes!

I am still going to try though!

thanks for posting the EMH!! Am very happy that MK hs the evening hr for the 13th!! Our family tradition is to be there the last night before we leave the next day!! Nothing like being at the top of Splash Mountain right before you go "weee" (lol) and seeing the fireworks!!!

We went back and forth when to go in June!! I originally wanted the end....its our 5 yr Fairytale Wedding anniv, which will also be our DD 2nd b day!! (same day) June 28...but didnt want to use Fri and Sat points for a 2 bdr! Then we couldnt be gone for Fathers Day (DS14 and DD10 w/ex) and not the first week cause I would be chancing a make up day or two if the kids have a snow day....(they did last year) So the 8-14th it is~

Its so hard to choose a resort! But we chose OKW for the space in a 2 bdr, and it is the original place I wanted to stay in when we planned our wedding!!! But thought the price was too high for a 2 bdr...5 years later...as DVC owners, no prob!!!

I am already looking at where we want to eat. Time to set ADR's in just over 2 weeks

Wow... We are staying June 9-21.. We are also staying at AKV.. And we are also from Illinois..

Woo! We're staying June 10-20 at AKV. We're not from Illinois, but we're moving to Missouri Fall 2008, does that count?

I lived in Illinois from 1973-1979 and Missouri 1967-1973 and we are staying at AKV. Gotcha both covered!

We will also be at AKV June 15-23 in a 1 bedroom Savanna view and I can't wait. It will be our first trip to AKV since adding on points there. Thanks for posting the EMH.

I agree that some of the days for EMH don't seem to make sense, but I was thinking about it from the ***************** side where they suggested to go to certain parks on days that had EMH that day. Normally they do NOT do that. I imagine we will see these days get changed around a little bit, or maybe there is something that we are unaware of as far as the expected crowds for that time.

Anyone planning on doing any tours? We're thinking about doing the Steam Train tour and since we're staying in a 1 bedroom on the Concierge level (hopefully Savannah View *keeping fingers crossed), we'd like to do the Sunrise (maybe, it's sooo early) and Sunset Safari.

June 9-17 AKV for us and then onto Vero for 3 more nights.

I have been so busy with my new business I had totally forgotten about ADR's I had better get busy planning.
