Does anyone know why Universal is closing so early on June 14th.

We are going one day during this week and I was surprised they were closing so early.

I don't know...must be a private event of some kind.

How will an early closure on a Thursday effect crowds on the next day? We were thinking of a one day stop at IOA but it would be the day after a 6 pm close. Does that mena it will be MORE crowded?

Depends.. Because usually they will have those early closings for special events when it is not a busy time of the year anyways...

Often times they will open the park an hour earlier to make up for the difference...

You can bet if IoA is closing at 6:00 it has been rented out for a private function. I've had the thrill of going to a private event at IoA & all I can say is: how lucky for those attending.

Yeah...Phamton and I went to the DIS Unplugged WWoHP event in December and had a great time w/o any crowds at all.
