Hi we will be at the park from the 9th till the 16th June, hoping to be in the park Thurs, Fri, Sunday night for WOC dining package, Mon, Tues and hit the beach the rest of the time. Do you think it would be better for me to go to the park on the Saturday instead of Monday as the AP holders are blocked out.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

I think that even with the AP blocked, Saturdays are much busier than Mondays.

Thanks for the advice I think I will stick with the plan and go to the park on the monday

In this case I would tend to disagree.

The SoCal Select AP holders will have four chances to see WOC before the summer blockout. June 14 (the Monday you are takling about), 15, 21 and 22. And only 2000 slots per show (4000 per day) to get FPs. Plus the likely 4000 slots for show #3.

The SoCal AP holders will have 12 chances which also includes the Monday. There are roughly a million AP holders in those two groups.

The Deluxe APs are blocked on Sat June 12. Only the Premium APs can get in.

This is not to say that Saturday will not be crowded for WOC. But the crowds will at least be people who are mostly not AP holders and therefore cannot dedicate an entire day (or the previous evening camping out) to seeing this one show.

If it was me I would try for Saturday. :)

Thanks Hydroguy, I am in two minds a the moment and seeing that I already have a reservation for a WOC dinner package on the Sunday night, I could easily go all day Saturday and avoid the lines for WOC and just enjoy the park.

I also reckon the beaches will be less busy on the Monday so would be a good time to go. Tuesday is a MM so we will take our chances with the crowds but atleast we will be there first thing.

Cheers

I agree with you. I went this last weekend when all APs were blocked except the Premium AP. When we met my brother for dinner on Saturday, he said that all the rides were almost walk on. My DH and I thought there would be bigger crowds. Even on Monday, we went to DCA for the last day of the F/W and didn't think it was that crowded.

What kind of difference? As in how much you can experience in a day? Yes, a huge difference. :)

Sorry I was a bit vague there! We are planning on using our MM on Tuesday morning, if we don't go to MM on Saturday I guess the day will still be better than going on the Monday with all the AP holders.
