FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin. Other information you would like to share such as first names, ages of child participants, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, since no one has come forward to organize a FE for this cruise here on the DIS, please feel free to start the FE right in this thread.

There is certainly plenty of time to plan a FE for this cruise. All it takes is for someone to maintain a list of/for those participating which can easily be done in this thread. Cruise Meet threads have been doing it this way for years now here on the DIS. If anyone is interested in doing this, feel free to contact me for some suggestions.

Before we were aware we could not use outside sources this was created to help organize a FE list. Hopefully it is still up to date. Perhaps if you wish to be added to the list add your name in a reply to this? Not sure how else we can try and keep all this information in one easy to find location. DIS boards, can you help a little more- how are we to keep this updated and organized with pages and pages of posts?

Those details are usually decided by a consensus of those participating. Most FEs typically have a policy that there is at least one gift per cabin - although individuals in the group may opt to gift to each participant and some do that more than once. It is a personal decision so that no one feels overwhelmed with a lot of rules. The group size can also be decided on by the group itself. Many will use 10-15 cabins as the limit but again, it should be fun for everyone. Some will participate in more than one group.

Typically, cruises will gain a lot of interest just before sailing so be prepared for that probability too!

Don't bother with the Facebook group. They closed the FE to new people awhile ago. They did set up a "pixie dust" list though.

 

[DreamSurprise]

Our mystery vacation for our six grandchildren! They think we are going to our regular mountain vacation, so we've written a poem to give them on the way to the airport! We know they will be guessing, as we head to Florida, but our lips are sealed until they see the DREAM ! Anticipation for the outcome of this surprise! Our first Disney Cruise. 12 of us traveling with grands, parents, and grandparents!
