Yep! Made 'em. Mike scanned the window decals we bought for the car into the computer and then printed them on Iron On paper - I did the ironing. The shirts were like $3 at Michaels - so it was really cheap too.

Good morning all! It's getting so close! I need to start working on my fish extender gifts! Can anyone tell me how to make or buy one quick and cheap? I did order one online but the shipping is delayed and it might not arrive in time, so I have to have a back up plan just in case!

We always eat at Topsiders for breakfast without fail. It's good, and our family isn't big into breakfast anyway. In fact, the only time I ever eat breakfast is when I am on vacation! But there is a lot to choose from and its fast, plus, I enjoy eating outside and watching the ocean.

The characters have always stopped at our table to autographs and photos!!! We are going to skip it this year though, DD is getting too old to care about autographs - she just wants to see the princesses.

Have fun at training! Just think when it is over the cruise is that much closer! Hope you can get a hold of a lap top. That would be hard to not check.

**Scrapbook Exchange - Paper, stickers, emblishments like clips, buttons, yarn, ribbon, and some really cool things that were especially made by the scrapper for our cruise for scrapbooking. I tell you, some people are VERY talented (not me) but we had fun chatting and looking at other peoples pages and got lots of ideas from everyone. You bring 5 you take 5 etc.

*Fish Extenders – We will be putting little things in them through out the cruise. Like, Paper, Pencils, stickers, etc. To do this we can use the list that Sandy will compile for the Mickey door magnet.

Fish Extender Gifts - This can be EVERY day or you pick a day to distribute all your gifts. There really is no set rule for gift-giving, it is up to you as to what and how much you want to give... each to their own accord. Right now there are not many DISers that have signed up so the roster is quite small... so we could do it everyday... if there are many more that sign up, then we could do it all on one day and just lump our gifts in the Extenders on whatever day you choose. Bear in mind that it is a lot of fun to find something in your extender EVERY day.

I'm with you kcarl, We LOVE topsiders for breakfast, in fact, my family prefers it to the formal breakfasts in the dining rooms because it is faster and the choices are visable and instant... and the Character Breakfast is great... the characters always stop at our table and they have plenty of time for pictures and autographs.

Any suggestions for a hotel near the port? (I think the 2 I've narrowed it down to are the Comfort Inn & Suites + Best Western...guess we'll take a taxi to the port from there.)

I didn't have much luck this weekend with the Fish Extender gifts...changing plans and will try again this week.

Hello!

We are staying at the Best Western by the Port. So is Sandy not sure of any one else. I want to get up early and watch the Magic come in. We are going to take a taxe or shuttle from LAX to the hotel. The Best Western has a shuttle that takes you to the Magic to.

I am going to go afer work tomorrow for the Fish Extender gifts.

SIZE="4"]We're staying there too. The cost is reasonable and they include a continental breafast and the shuttle to the ship. It use to be Best Western, but now it's called Sunrise Hotel and their # is (310) 548-1080.[/SIZE

Sunrise Hotel is literally directly across the street from the water, you can watch the Magic sail in from your window if your room faces the harbor... and you can walk to the Port O'call restaurants and shops, then their free shuttle takes you to the port in the morning. And their price is VERY reasonable. The hotel itself is older and nothing special, it is really just a clean room for the night, but its location is really close and the view in the morning is MAGICal!

I know a lovely t-shirt gift for a Fish Extender Gift if you are interested!

REALLY! you could use anything you wanted to!!!
I have a couple thoughts for you if you dont want to make one and yours does not come in!

1. A sand bucket tied to the Fish decorated could be really cute!!!!!

2. What about a purse not a snap kind but a wide open kind if you know what i mean, and decorated could be really cute and functional too!!!!!!

Who knows either of these could start a whole new trend!

OHHHHHHHHH, I love the shirts!!!!!!!! I had those decals on the back of my van until just recently , i had to scrape them off becasue of sun damage.
My hand made shirts PALE in comparison to yours!!!!!!! THEY ARE AWESOME!

MY kids were usually not up to eat breakfast in a restaurant but Dh and i did enjoy itone and will do it more times this time around, although TOPSIDES was good, we like to be waited on!!!!!!!!!

We are staying on Disney Property as we will be there a couple days before...We will be at the Paradise pier.
