Hello again,

Posted a few pages back as my family is also going on the July 5 cruise and also on Deck 6.

Not sure if we are early but we have started booking excursions.

I was surprised that we leave Grand Cayman at 5pm. I tried to book a sunset horse back ride but fortunately they did not take the reservation and informed me that we left at 5. At least they are on top of things!.

We are water folks so we are going to snorkel every chance we get.

We are also staying at the Radisson at the Port, July 3 and 4. Do you think there will be any July 4 celebrations around? We are also on deck 6 and are also DVC Members. Can't wait to meet everyone.

Welcome Wendy. WIth two Wendy's we need at least one Michael and one Peter :p

Looks like the party is going to be on Deck 6.

I guess the best time and place to meet is the Sail Away party. We can work on where as the weeks get closer.

Btw, if anyone has any ideas how to better format this, I'm open to any suggestions. Right now I have it in a table in WOrd and am just copy/pasting it into this note. Does anyone know if I can use HTML tables here

Anna: So sorry....I didn't mean to "lecture". (I hear the same from my kids all the time)

Sandy: Can't help you with formatting.....I'm a complete computer illiterate. All I know is that you're doing a great job! And while you're at it, could you pleeeze add our cabin # (7096).

We're driving down from Eastern Long Island for the 7/5 Western Cruise, DH47,DS13,DS9 will turn 10 on cruise, and DD8 and me 46.
Staying at the Radisson Cape Canaveral on 7/4. Our first family and Disney Cruise. Husband and I cruised before kids! Big Red Boat (old ship)!! After cruise staying at Beach Club Villas for a week....we're DVC members too. Look for the gold Windstar with the "turtle carrier" on the top on I95!! Staying in Cat. 4 and have late seating for meals. :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl:

I think we've got everybody on that other list signed unto this one.
Hmmmmm.....is category 4 one of the big rooms? Maybe we can have the party there!!! (just kidding....) I'm not sure but I think you might be the only Disney cruise "virgin" on this thread....I envy the fact that you're going to be seeing and doing everything for the very first time. You're gonna have a wonderful experience, especially if you check these boards regularly - they'offer a treasure trove of good advice (along with unsolicited "lectures"). Look forward to meeting you on the ship.

Sandy: I just had an idea that might make your life easier, but I'm not sure it will work. If we ditch this thread, we can start another one with your list as the very first entry. Then, everytime you have to revise it, you could just go to the top of the thread and edit your posting. The only drawback I can see is that we run the risk of losing some people since I'm assuming that we're all "subscribed" to this thread and if we start a new one it may take another month or so to get everyone back on it. Think about it....

jeanne - actually, you have a good idea and we don't even have to start a new thread. I have the second post and can edit that one. I'm going to try it now.

OK, I got it to work. Sorry about all the white space. I'm not sure how to get rid of that, but I'll keep working on it.

Did I see it somewhere that you can book the excursions before you cruise to avoid the rush? If so, any suggestions? We'd like to do Stringray City but there seems to be several options, any preferences? Jeep excursion in Cozumel....how many in a Jeep, there's 5 of us. Any Key West suggestions?

We too will be checking into the Raddison July 4th with our three kids a girls 17 and 11 and a 14 yr. old boy.

Looks like we some things in common.

Hi Sandy,
I think the list looks great! Maybe you can ask one of the moderators to help you get rid of the white space. If anyone else knows what cabin they'll be staying in, please let us know. Then we can all mark up our deckplans so we'll know where all the DISers are staying!

Am I missing something, where is the white space you guys are talking about?

Anna - check the second post on the first page. I inserted a table of the July 5th DIS group. If you don't see it, it may be a browser problem.

Hi Anna,
If you go to the 2nd posting on the very first page of this thread, Sandy has a totally revised list of all the DISers on our cruise. It's much easier to read than the previous ones but you have to scroll down through quite a bit of white space to get to it. You can check to see if your info is correct.

Thanks guys. I see. Everything is good. We are in cabins 6631 and 6633.

WendyP - yes I see now what you were talking about too last night (Fashion Show) - your DM and DF is on the list too. Thanks for preparing the llist. It's growing. Wow this thread is up to pages 10 already. By the time we sail ......... who knows what page we will be up to.
