We've gone in May and June but never in July. Anyone know the avg temps? Is the June Gloom gone now? What can we expect? Looking at mid to late July.

I am thankful I am not heading to WDW during this time of the year. Oh the humidity.

We went one year during July 4th holiday. It was hot but our plan of attack was to go in the morning, back to the hotel during mid day heat and then return to the parks before the setting sun. We loved the parks at night. Just make sure you take a warm jacket because it does get quite cold after the sun goes down. We had a great time in July, have fun. :goodvibes

Last year we were there June 26-July 3 and it was very hot most of that time. We had to take breaks mid-day for swimming most days.

We tried to watch the Celebrate street party parade one of the days and it was so hot out of the shade we couldn't stay to watch.

But every year is different--I'm sure it will be fairly hot most of July though.

I'm local and July is pretty hot, 95-100. I don't think it gets cold in the evenings though, maybe I'm just used to it.

Ten years ago this July my husband and I were married at the DL hotel on July 2nd. It was late afternoon, but it was cool enough to have an outdoor wedding. I have wondered if it was hot and I didn't notice, but when I look at pictures, it doesn't look that way. I believe it is manageable, just take breaks during the day and make sure to sunblock it up.

It will be hot! 90s-100s. June Gloom will be gone, hence the heat!

I have seen other folks make this claim numerous times in the past but have never seen any data to support it. All the data I have ever found supports my experience in Anaheim and that summer days typically top out in the mid-80's. For example see "Detailed Weather Data for DLR" www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=23004158. In July average highs in Anaheim are 85 F and lows are 64 F. Does it get hotter and into the 90's and 100's? Sure, sometimes. I was at DL once when it was 100 F. But it is more common by far for temperatures to be nearer the averages of 64-85. Out in Riverside where I grew up, yes 90's to 100. But not in Anaheim.

Different people of course have different sensitivity to heat and have to make their own personal choices. IMO on days which range from 64-85 then the bulk of the day and evening hours are in the 70's and low 80's. And rain? SoCal is not Orlando. While it does rain in SoCal despite what the song says, it is very rare to have rain in the summer. See my weather link above. And humidity too is not a factor in my experience or in the data. So, temperatures in the 70's and low 80's, no rain, little humidity? Folks, that is as close to perfect as you are going to get aside from having God keep the temperatures at a fixed 76 F night and day all summer long. :)

I agree with Hydroguy.
It might get over 90 in Anaheim, but in July that is rare. It is usually in the 80's. In the Inland Empire (Riverside and San Bernardino) it is almost always 10-15 degrees warmer than in Anaheim, so yes, it would be over 90 in July in those areas (and that is where I live). It just seems very hot when you are standing in a line in the sun! And taking a break midday is a smart idea no matter what the temp is. Have a wonderful time!:)
