July visit???

Hi I have a quick question. I have been to DL end of July and also August. I am wondering tho crowd wise after July 4th thinking of visiting DL July 6-13??? Any help

I've heard it isn't THAT bad after the fourth since most of the locals choose that day to go and skip the rest of the week. I'm in the parks on the 5th, 6th, and 7th... I think there is a lull after the fourth of July rush. Well, as much of a lull you can have in the summer...

We only spent one day there last summer and that was July 1st. We were staying at my friend's house outside of LA (we live in MD) and drove over just for the day. We got there right before rope drop and did everything on our list. We did stay open-close and had a fantastic day.

We did not park hop and stayed only at DL (no CA this time). We did not do Space Mountain (b/c they have that in MK in FLA) but did ride the Matterhorn, Indiana Jones more than once, Splash more than once, and our son was in the Jedi Training Academy show, plus much more.

We had been resigned that we were going to have to skip a lot but we had planned in advance and with only one day there had a fabulous time.

Hi, wanted to bump this thread to see if there are any other Dis'ers out there with opinions or experience with this, we are going July 8-16th!!

I'd be a little wary of around the fourth especially on a year like this when it falls midweek. Lots of people will use that to take a full week off. Probably from that Friday before to the Sunday after the park will have maximum crowds.

The week after will probably much lower and a welcome relief but still summer busy.
