July touring plan for both parks advice?

Hi. I know how to tour WDW parks for max enjoyment, least wait time, but not for DLP. Could a DLP pro please give advice for Walt Studios and DLP? We have one day in July (likely a Monday or Tues) and would plan to be there by 9:30 am. Should we go to Studios 1st and then over to DLP. We would like to go back to hotel from 2-6ish, then back in until closing at 11. My teens like roller coasters, like Space. We don't have Rat at WDW, so wanted to do that. Suggestions of what/when to go and how to maximize fast passes, and tips, such as the timing of when FP run out (such as at WDW, with paper FP, they ran out by noon for major rides). Also, are rides open during fireworks, and it is good time to have low wait time? thank you. Elaine

Hi - I am not the OP but I could have almost wrote the exact same post for help. We are going August 2 and only have one day. I am interested to hear any advice for hitting both parks!
