July - Photopass CD Sharing (Update pg 3 - #41)

We'll be there from July 28-Aug 3...we'd JUST make the cut off if no one goes before the 4th. However, I have to make sure we'll have internet in our hotel. (Grand Californian...does anyone know?? Does it cost?)

Please make sure you read the updated post #1 AND this entire thread - June - Photopass CD Sharing. If you don't understand how it works, please PM me ASAP. I'm thinking of cutting it off at 7 people. If I set up the account on July 8, we will have access until August 6 (possibly 7, but don't want to lose it). At that time, I will order the CD and let everyone know how much. It will be around $20-25 per person, depending on any offers/coupons that are available at that time. This includes the cost of padded envelopes and shipping. I will post more exact details as we get closer.

The most important part is to remember that you can't go home and load your photos to an account to look at them and THEN put them in the shared account. Each card can only be loaded to ONE account. If you do them yourself, you won't be able to share......

sorry to be stupid but I am not sure how photopass works. I know you find a photographer, and get a card? and i thought they gave you the cd before you leave the park?

Do we know yet if there is a max number of pictures?? I know a CD will only hold a certain amount of pics and after that you have to switch to a DVD...??

I'm not sure, I'm participating in the Photopass for June and we have over 600 pictures so far. I can't find anything on the Photopass website that says anything about a limit to the number of pictures. I'll email and see what I can find out.

Sorry I didn't reply back Carmen. When you get your first picture taken, the photographer will give you a Photopass card. Everytime after that, they will scan the card and all your pictures will be linked to that card, even over several days. You can get another card, if you want, they can all be put in the online account. I think you can look at your pictures before you leave the park, possibly even buy some, but the online account is what we are trying to combine together.

Hi StacieLee! First of all let me say this is a GREAT idea! I'm going to Disneyland for the 1st time and I am looking for ways to save some $$$ since my stay at the Grand Californian is sooooo expensive.

Okay, I'm outta here tomorrow night!!! Can't wait to see the 4th of July fireworks. I know, I know, it will be crowded, but it's actually my daughter's birthday. She used to think the fireworks were for her, but now she's 12, and much, MUCH wiser, at least she thinks so!! We're also going to the beach See ya all later!!

They'll send as many CD's as it takes for all the pictures in the online Photopass account. I received 7 CD's for 1900 pictures in our account when there were 5 families sharing from a WDW trip in early June. Enjoy your photos!

It's the same price regardless of how many CD's it takes.

I'M BACK!! It was awesome, my DD birthday is July 4th and she loved the fireworks! It wasn't too bad, crowd-wise, until it was time for the fireworks. Then it was jam packed!

I'll get the account set up this weekend and email everyone the login and password.
