July Park Hours Just Extended!!!

I was just on the disney website and they extended the MK hours for the 1st 2 weeks in July to 11:00 pm and on 7/3 & 7/4 it will now stay open until 1:00 am.

I just wanted to give you all the heads up. I am going 7/2-7/9 and am quite happy with this news, more time to spend in the MK at night and not have to deal with the EMH!!!

I got an email from my great TA at DU also tellilng me they added an EMH for the MK on Wed. just not during that 4th of july week. So morning EMH for MK now also on Wed.(too bad not when we are there though.

If they are extending hours then they are predicting BUSY!!

While most or at least, many, think that Disney judges it's coming attendances from only on-site reservations, I read that Disney has an entire department geared towards getting reservation numbers in the greater Orlando area and judges it's crowds from that.

So, technically, there can be plenty of on-site rooms available and they still jack up the hours, feeling attendance my skyrocket.

Thanks for the heads up. We're going 7/2-7/9. Question: Does this mean that evening extra magic hour (if there is one at Mk those days) would be until 4:00 a.m.? Wouldn't that be cool?

Anyway, I'm going. We're going to Epcot on the 4th. I don't think I could stand the MK crowds that day. We do want to try to take advantage of the extra magic hours while we're there.
