July or early August?

6 of one . . . half dozen of the other.
Really, it's a toss up. Both are very, very busy and hot.

....and really fun times to go IMO.

I agree with Danger that there is no difference between July and August. But I would also say that the crowds and heat are not as big a factor if you get a nearby hotel - Disney or Good Neighbor - and take breaks every afternoon. We rarely feel overly hot at DLR and never wait in long lines. And we LOVE the temperature in the mornings and evenings. Shorts and tee shirts from 6AM until midnight.

We were just at DL yesterday for a day trip and the weather was nice for November - it got up to 70 or 72 degrees. But somehow the warm summer weather and lots of daylight is integral to our Disney experience.

It appears you go alot;) We were also planning on going to Seaworld and the San Diego Zoo. Could you recommend a nice hotel in that area that is moderately priced to Deluxe. Thanks:thumbsup2

Happy Thanksgiving everyone:)

Most of my experience at SW and the SD Zoo was when I lived in SD - and did not need a hotel. So I do not have any good recommendations for you. Hopefully someone else will come through.

But imo, not near as hot (or humid) as WDW during those months. Also if visting M-Th, not nearly as crowded.

& as HydroGuy states, taking a rest during the afternoon, avoids the heat & crowds further still.

Have fun. :thumbsup2
