I used alamo for the first time last year and loved it but they are the highest around. I used the AP discount and Alamo insider and it was still considerably higher than dollar and Hertz

Alamo always gets less expensive closer to the rental period. Last year i got my cheapest rate from Alamo two weeks out, I believe it was about $95/week.

anybody find anything lately? Looking for either two compacts or one minivan, for middle of July for six adults.
