We like to take afternoon breaks to cool off and swim for a bit daily during our trips. Because we will be first timers to the Fort in many years im wondering how full and busy the main pool get? Does it get crowded? Congested ? Would we need to bring chairs?
Insite appreciated thanks so much!

I haven't been there at the fort during this time, but from what I have read, that it will get very crowded, particularly as the day gets hotter. Not sure if you will need to bring your own chairs or not. I know when I was there in November (2014) that it wasn't that crowded at the pool (as you might expect) but there were a LOT of chairs, tables and chaise lounges.

Are floats/tubes allowed in the pools? I would think not because of crowding but can't find anything "official"

Annual July campers and I can tell you that, despite the heat, the pool doesn't get nearly as crowded as it does for Spring Break. I've noticed that until about 11:30 or so there are still good spots available. It gets more crowded but not the human soup that it was in Spring Break (where it was packed by 10). There are alot of tables and pool chairs so there is generally always somewhere to sit and people do tend to move around and clear out. I've never seen anyone bring chairs but I think the only place to put them would be the grass area as the pool deck is efficiently filled with Disney seating. I like the shade but if you want sun, your odds for a chair in the afternoon (particularly after 3) are pretty good.

Just an fyi, the Meadows pool is closed right now. At least 2 foot low on water and it looks like they are trying to figure out the leak or pipe issue.

Uh Oh! That's not good... Especially at this time of year. Hope they will get it fixed soon. We will be there in less then a month! My DD11 will be heart broken. (I think my DW would be too).

Did they provide an alternative location that the visitors to the fort could use (Other then the smaller pool by the cabins)?
