I was just posting my favorite song of the moment, because with it being close to 7PM now here on the East Coast, I'm trying to cook dinner. Barney HAPPENS to be on, so it's keeping them out of my hair...... I'll take that so I don't have to worry about them while I'm frying up chicken for chicken parm tonight..... I'll definately work on a top 10 for you......

Oh, I'm sooo glad I'm way past this stage with my kids!!!

Thanks to Chris, I have Come Sail Away in my head.

Arrrrgh, Barney!!!!!! Please, oh please, no Barney songs! It's hitting too close; right next to wearing shoes! Yep, get that song out of my mind. One sure way.... think about "Mel Gibson, Mel Gibson, Mel Gibson". Whew, all's better now. :teeth:

Hey, Chris thanks for keeping us busy and this thread moving along at a very nice pace. Very cool! Sounds like we've all had the week from ????. Keep a bottle of wine chilling, my friends.

List of songs> Way easy and way fun! See ya'll tomorrow......

Amy

Y'know Lori, it's things like that that make me glad our DD doesn't watch TV (I think she's just too little). Of course, that makes me look forward to that stage sooooo much :rolleyes2

Here are the top rated on my ipod...

Waiting for the Weekend (the Vapors)
He Mele No Lilo (Lilo & Stitch Soundtrack)
I Guess that's Why they Call it the Blues (Elton John)
Reflections of Earth (Walt Disney World)
I Want a New Drug (Huey Lewis & the News)
Popular (Wicked Soundtrack)
Nottomun Town (Oak Ash & Thorne [folk])
It Doesn't Matter (Depeche Mode)
Candle in the Wind - 1997 (Elton John)
Kiss that Frog (Peter Gabriel)

If you can find a pattern in that, Chris, you're a better man than I...

Sara
Well, Sara, I'm certainly not going to get into a discussion comparing my, uhh, manhood to yours (or anybody else's).... :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

The only pattern I see is that 4 of these songs are on my iPod also. :dancer: :dancer: ?? Though, if you or anyone else can guess which ones, then I do think the whole manhood thing would be settled right on the spot... :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Chris

O.K. Here are my songs...

First off Chris, you should get the Theme to the Love Boat. Since we're sailing to basically the same ports, it would be cool. I of course have a copy, so if you need it let me know, I'll e-mail it to you.

Top Songs

Hotel California - Eagles
Stairway to Heaven - Led Zepplin
November Rain - Guns N Roses
Southern Cross - Crosby, Stills and Nash
Rio - Duran Duran
Anything by U2
More than a Feeling - Boston

And as a person born and bred in NJ anything recorded by Bruce or Bon Jovi!!!!

Can we have some Jimmy Buffet, too? It just makes me feel like I'm on vacation when I hear Jimmy.

Submit your list!!! That's the whole point--to get the kind of music you like. I, of course, reserve the right to not play what I don't like, but Jimmy Buffet is fine with me. If you want rap music, though, I'm gonna use my editorial discretion and say no!!! :wizard: :wizard:

Chris

Chris, don't even ask me to put down names of songs! I am so bad at that. I am more of the "oh, I like that song--who sings it and what's the name of it." So, I will say anything by Elton John, The Eagles, Jimmy Buffet, The Dixie Chicks, Billy Joel, and The Who.

OK, guys, we can't go a whole day without a post, even if we're doing well on our whole 90-page thingy.

So, here it is...

A bunch of us are looking forward to meeting on Monday at DL. For those of you that couldn't make it for scheduling or geographic reasons, we'll be thinkin' 'bout ya, and we'll make sure to take plenty of pictures.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Chris

We're still here! Yep, the weekend is good, but I'm tired of the rain! :umbrella:

Can't wait to meet everyone tomorrow. See ya at Rainforest!

Amy
