July 8th crowds?

We'll be at DLR July 5-10. I feel like day 4 (Saturday, July 8th) is the big unknown. It might be the quietest day in the parks, given Deluxe passports will be blocked, and people here have been saying that the quiet days are when APs are blocked. On the other hand, Touring Plans thinks it will be one of the busiest (crowd level “8” when most others are “6”) and I can completely believe that Saturday will be a prime day for people to visit. Any thoughts?

When Disney blocks passes, it is because they believe there will be day guests crowds. They do not block passes to lower the crowd levels. (When has Disney ever wanted low crowds?) It will be summer crowded. I think a bigger factor will be the weather. If it is very hot, you might see lighter crowds because not everyone can take the heat all day. Locals and upper pass holders may choose to visit in the evening or another day. Lots of day guests opt for a pool or beach day, then visit the parks in the evening.
