July 7 2018 Europe - no pirate night?

Have been waiting and waiting to find out when pirate night will be during our 10nt European cruise July 7, 2018. Nothing is announced could it be that there won't be one? Calling DCL they just keep telling me that it hasn't been announced if there will be one or not.

I don’t see one on my (different) July cruise either. I’m not worried about it, I feel we’ll probably be too tired from touring the Med to go anyway!

Thanks my kids love pirate night and while they will be perfectly fine without it I would like to prepare them if it will not be held.

I'm not sure they do it. It's usually "Pirates IN the Caribbean", so it wouldn't make sense to do it in the Mediterranean.

Better to tell them it won't happen and IF it does it will be a joyous surprise than to say "Maybe" and it doesn't and then they are whiny and miserable.

The Bibbidi Boutique has pirate packages for one of the days to reserve and the reason I was asking. I have been on a Med cruise before and they had the pirate night and fireworks

From what customer service told me back in mid-April when I inquired about Pirate Night. One has not been scheduled for our cruise. The cruise currently only has Formal night planned on the night of the 8th and semi-formal night scheduled on the night of the 15th. They were telling me that the entertainment schedule is not confirmed until we are on board. So it is still possible that one will be scheduled.

According to the BBB Pirate Make overs being offered on the July 7th sailing, Pirate Night may be scheduled for Naples night. Hope that helps.

That's strange. We have it on our Med cruise in June. When you log into your reservation on the Disney Cruise website and click on "View Details" you don't see it listed?

I'm not sure they do it. It's usually "Pirates IN the Caribbean", so it wouldn't make sense to do it in the Mediterranean.

I agree it doesn't make tons of sense, but historically, it's been on every Med cruise.

That is what made me question it. Not on the details and no cm can confirm it so far but the BBB is offering the pirate makeovers

No it is not listed for the July 7th 10 day cruise. When you click on view details it only shows the sail away celebrations on the 1st day.

Sometimes they just do not show, the 17/7 cruise has pirates night on Rome night.

All Med cruises up to the 22/7 repo have them.

So yes there is "Pirates IN the Caribbean" in the Mediterranean, and in Vigo, "Pirates IN the Atlantic "

BBB will indicate the pirate night.

From 29/7 it's Frozen.

My sailing (June 23) has Pirate Night listed for the day we stop in Genoa (Day 5). They also did the Pirates IN the Caribbean Night during my Mexico cruise on the Wonder yeeeaaaaarrrrrrs ago. For my Iceland/Norway cruise in 2016 we had Frozen Night instead of Pirate Night.
