Have any of you used google-docs before? I read on another thread about a group that is using it for managing their get togethers, fish extenders, locators, etc. etc. etc. and wondered if any of you have experience with it?

We have tried using it for work. Is the other group having success with it?

Hi everyone! Found this on page two! Must all be busy.

Happy weekend to all...

Hello

I am busy busy with shopping. Spend the money as my work 20 percent off plus my work discount so got good bargains this morning.

Now I watch tv rugby of Scotland v Canada at my homeplace Aberdeen. It is cold place. brrrzzzz

Sounds like a great discount on the shopping, Scottishwee!

I am off to get my hair done this morning. Will be busy times coming up over the next month. Thanksgiving here of course, DD Jen graduates with her nursing degree in a couple of weeks which is a whole weekend of festivities. Not to mention this is my busy time at work. So crazy right through Christmas.

I am thinking of sorting through more Christmas decorations here later. Might try to get the inside window lights up and the assorted nativity creche, and snowmen items I display.

Last night Kristen and I went to a home party which had several things for sale. They had purses, jewelry, Tastefully Simple and Pampered Chef. I picked up a couple of gifts so it was definitely helpful.

What is everyone else up to this weekend?

DH and I are getting the house ready for when our grown kids come home Wednesday for Thanksgiving! :goodvibes DS hasn't been home since last Christmas :sad1: so his room has become a convenient catch-all. That means TODAY I've got to finally deal with all the junk I've been throwing in there over the last 11 months! :scared1: Fortunately for me, DD's room is in good shape because it's usually our guest room so we keep it neat all year round. :)

We're also dragging down the Christmas decorations :santa: from the attic today. Our tradition is for the whole family to hang ornaments on the tree together. Since DD will head back to her home Friday morning and DS flies back to CA on Saturday morning, we have to have everything ready so we can decorate right after Thanksgiving dinner!

We've also got a lot of errands to run today... Target, the post office, the grocery store, the mall, etc., etc., etc.

This morning Jack has a cub scout pack outing at the bowling alley...will be earning his bowling pin (merit). Then after lunch we are headed to Disneyland. Spending the night off property though. The hotels didn't have DVC point rooms left so we're using Hilton points to stay at the Embassy Suites. Going to watch the Christmas parade and fireworks and snow. Of course visit the reindeer roundup, too:woohoo: Disneyland rocks at Christmas time. IASW is so pretty at Christmas and the dolls sing Christmas carols. :santa:

Vicki...you know you want to post. ;) It was great talking to you last night. :chat:

Oh it sound beautiful

fine for my big special birthday

Oh I would love to go there once they get it done. May have to think about saving some points or doing an add on so we can do that becasue i'm sure that is going to be expensive point wise.

Lissa

Since it has a planned opening of 2011....maybe one of the new ships will also be there! Save your money......

The boys and I had our pre-Thanksgiving thanksgiving with my folks over the weekend and then we'll spend Thanksgiving with DH's family this week. My mom gave the boys their traditional ornaments so we now have two ornaments on the tree :)

Marlaymike - welcome to the thread! I'll add you to the first page - take a look there for other info you might be interested in.

Lissa - about adding on - seems like I've read lately that the add-on offers on DCL have been better than the land-based offers, so you might want to start prepping your family for some adding-on discussion ... you know we're sailing in 3 1/2 weeks, right?!!!

I'm excited about Hawaii -- we want to go there and we have enough DVC points already so it will be a matter of if we can get it booked or not. Although I wonder if you can "really" have enough DVC points (LOL).

Hope everyone has a blessed week. For those traveling for Thanksgiving, be safe. For those who don't have Thanksgiving this week, be thankful you don't have to worry about expanding waistlines and family weirdness :)

hee hee.

Cindy

I don't have dvc as I should get it as I travel with Disney mostly on Cruise.

Oh well, interpreter was taking me one to one with dvc then I changed my mind (wish I didnt).

Won't be long for your next cruise.

Scottishwee35

you can never have enough DVC points. We want to buy some more when The villas at Grand Californian go on sale.

I totally agree that you can never have enough DVC points! We made our initial DVC purchase waaaaay back in 1995 and immediately had to borrow points in order to do everything we wanted to do that year! We've been borrowed out ever since! :rotfl: We added on points in 2004 and again last October when we bought into Bay Lake Tower! And we're STILL borrowed into the next use year!!!!!! :rotfl2: Ahhhhhhhh, I just love "going home" to DVC!

OH MY!!!! ;) Sorry about that. We only have our initial purchase of 200 that we bought in 2006. ROOKIES!!! Definitely not enough, though. We went to DL over the weekend, and DH and I were saying time to go back to WDW. I think we are going to try to go in December 2009, so we can go to the MVMCP again. Also to get our not so local Disney fix before 2010.

Hi

Is that why u put Xmas tree early because of Thankgiving?

I always put up xmas on 1st Dec or last day in November lol

Scottishwee35

We usually do ours around Thanksgiving, but I think my wife is excited for our oldest to come home for Christmas. She'll be home around the 17th. In addition, we are going to San Diego this weekend for a soccer tournament. Plus, I have to get the lights on the house while the weather is good. Maybe we should all post pictures of our decorations. :thumbsup2
