July 6-10 Trip to Disneyland--Help Needed

We are staying at Embassy Suites South and have 4 day Park Hopper Passes. We plan on leaving the morning of the 10th and do not know when we will arrive on the 6th.

It has been almost 16 years since DH and myself went to Disneyland. Does anyone have any advice? We will be travelling with 9 year old DD.

Since we are PAP holders and DVC members for Disney World (with 3 trips in the past year), we want to focus on the differences in WDW and DL.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Well, with that amount of time, you should be able to do just about everything. Make sure to spend at least 3/4 of a day at DCA. See the Aladdin show, ride Grizzly River, CA Screamin' and take in the differences between the TOT here and at WDW. See the Electrical Parade for sure. At DL, the Matterhorn, Indy, Pinocchio, Alice in Wonderland, Storybookland, Casey Jr, and Roger Rabbit are all unique to DL. Pirates, and most of other rides that have WDW versions have major differences. Make sure you catch DL's new fireworks show from the hub at least once.
