July 5th Dream

Being waited on!

As a SAHM that also cares for a mom with dementia, I really love my Disney cruises where my room is always clean, beds are made in the morning and then prepped for sleeping at night, my meals are cooked for me, and someone else brings the meals to the table and then takes away the dirty dishes! I can have my froo-froo drink while relaxing on a lounge chair, watching people laugh and enjoy themselves, and I don't have to do anything to entertain any one!

In reality, I am still picking up the room so housekeeping doesn't think we are slobs (can't help it, my mom ingrained this into me!), I am the one running back to the room for something that someone forgot (since I am still the only one that knows where anything is :confused3), and I even clear and stack the dishes to make it easier on our servers! But on the cruise, I don't mind any of it! I think Disney pipes some happy pheromones into all the hallways.:thumbsup2

And seeing the Dream for the first time, as we come over the hill to the port. Oh, I really am looking forward to that!:)

I see you are from So. Cal. Just curious-What airline are you using? I'm in No.Cal and was looking at air fare last night the flights are ok but I'm thinking about holding out for Southwest to open up their dates. It will be a while though since today they opended up thru Mar. so I'm torn.

We are flying on American. We are fortunate on this trip to have enough miles to get tickets for the whole family. So price was not a factor for us this time around. I think if we had to pay for tickets we would take a serious look at Southwest.

That's great about the miles. What a savings!

Since we originally made our reservation, we became pregnant. our third child is due this December (the 31st). But our room that holds four does not hold 5. I have a reservation with Dreams Unlimited and can trade any of the three rooms for a Cat. 8 that holds 5 people.

Room 6514 (Cat 8a), 6506 (9a), and 6508 (8d).

It doesn't work for us to simply add the new child to any of the rooms.

Another new member joining the group. The July 5th cruise will be the second part of our B2B cruises. We have sailed several times on the Disney Magic and can't wait for the new ship!
