July 5 - 10; How crowded for 10:30pm Fantasmic??

We'll be there immediately after 4th of July. We arrive on the 5th. Fantasmic is scheduled to be shown twice each night; 9pm and 10:30pm. Do you think we'll be able to get in without a huge crowd for the later showing? Or should I try and arrange for the package, at this late date....? (Assuming it'd be available). I'm hoping that the later show won't be too bad....

OK, I have two thoughts on this.

1. Since its only 2 of you, I'd say try to get the Fantasmic Dinner Package. You never know how the crowds will be since your on the tail of 4th of July weekend. Why not try booking this just to see if you can get it, and if you can't, go with plan B.

2. Since it's only 2 of you, you could take your chances going to the 10.30pm show of Fantasmic. The only reason I say this is b/c when DH and I were on our honeymoon and they had 2 shows of Fantasmic, we went to the 2nd show about 5 minutes before it started and got great seats.

So now you're probably scratching your head saying, well SHE certainly didn't help. Sorry if I confused the issue even more.

You can definitely get great seats at 10:30 Fantasmic !!
We went last week & walked in 5 min. prior to showtime with no waits & we got great seats down low in the center. People were a bit spread out & my family of 4 had no problem finding small pockets to get into.
We also did this on our trip last summer as well.We will never do a 9:00 Fantasmic again !

scanne: Actually, it'll probably be the 4 of us to see Fantasmic DSs haven't seen this show yet and I want them to see it at least once. I think I will call and try to get Fanstasmic for one of those nights, as long as they don't try to give us a 4:30pm dinner time. LOL I had called a month or two ago and that's all they had! But maybe they've opened up some later times by now.

Ron: I'm hoping to have the same experience I know we'll be at the Magic Kingdom on the night of July 5th, so I think we'll head over to see Fantasmic on the night of the 6th. I hope we're as fortunate as you were, and walk right in and get a seat.
