Ok, we are considering watching the fireworks from the Poly beach after the Electric Water Pageant. So, we are looking for a restaurant at the Poly that will be suitable for my dh and I, our children (very high spirited 3yr old and even more high spirited 2 year old), my cousin (in his 20's), my aunt (50's) and my grandma (70's). Obviously, we need something that will appeal to all ages. We need somewhere that will be extremely child friendly as ny children are not at all calm (I have had to scrap any hopes of eating at a signature until they are older). We need somewhere that serves good food as this will be our last night there and we want it to be special. We are currently considering either Spirit of Aloha or Ohana's. Can someone please tell me a little more about them (pref with pics if possible). Which will be more entertaining for the kids? Which have really good food? How long is the meal (so that I can figure out what time to book the meal for)? Any advice at all would be great. Thanks.

I would go with Ohana since they have more "kid activities". They call the kids up and do the hula or limbo and they have a singer that entertains the kids.

Also if the kids don't like the Ohana family style menu they will bring them "kids friendly" foods like hot dogs, chicken fingers, grilled cheese etc.

We have dined at both 'Ohana and The Spirit of Aloha dinner show.

For your group, I would choose 'Ohana out of the two. The Spirit of Aloha dinner show was rather long, as I recall (two hours maybe?), & the tables were very close together (at least in the section we were in), which would prohibit your children from getting up & moving around...also the fact that children getting up & moving around would distract others from the show.
