July 4th golf cart parade?

To the regular Fort folks...I have read that there is an annual gc parade over the 4th. Last year it seems that it was on the 3rd. We were planning a full day at the fort on the 4th to just relax and avoid the general masses, but were hoping that the parade would be part of the festivities. Do you all know, is the parade usually on the actual 4th or does it vary?

Been going since 07 and it was always on the 4th. Why they changed it last year I have no idea. I would like to know as well how they will do it this year.

Just thought I'd bump this up in case anyone else has any historical info. on it. We'd be bummed if it was the 3rd this year because our plans are kind of fixed to be in the parks that morning...
