July 4th dinner with fireworks view?

Hello!

We are headed back to DLR with DD and her BFF for a Sweet 16 birthday trip, and one off the days falls on July 4th. I know it'll be pretty busy that day and night, and I was wondering if anyone knew of a good restaurant for dinner, with a view of the fireworks. We're trying to avoid the crowds that will be waiting to see the fireworks that night.

Any ideas? Thanks so much!

Jolly Holiday & Plaza Inn are the only two with an okay view.

We usually do Fantasmic! then stay for fireworks.

If you don't have to see the castle, then Catal and the Jazz Kitchen in DtD have views of the fireworks. Ask for a table on the upper level balcony. But those tables book quickly, so be ready at the 60 day mark to make your reservation.

Thanks! Great advice and what I was hoping for...we are planning to eat at Catal anyway. I wonder what time the fireworks would be scheduled that night?

You can also get a nice view of the fireworks from Carthay Circle Restaurant. A little pricier and you have to time your reservation right, but the view is really nice.

If all you are interested in is seeing the actual in the sky fireworks, you can see them from pretty much anywhere in the Disneyland Park.
But the 60th fireworks have a lot of other aspects to them, that will really need to be viewed from Main Street.
