July 4th dining

This has probably been asked but it would take me days to find it among all the threads !. We would like to book at California Grill for 4th July . Cost is $ 210 each which we don't mind if it's going to be worth it. We have an 11 year old with Autism and Tourettes who won't sit too long .Been advised once we're seated we can leave and come back so one of us can always take son out for a wander but can anyone tell me . Is it worth the money. Also if you don't get a window seat do you still get a good view of the fireworks. And how do you get into those window seats. If 6.15 is the book in time what time should we really get there ?
