I was just looking around and saw some info. on the goings on for the California Grill on the 4th of July. This sounds very nice but a bit pricey at $159.00 a person. Has anyone ever done this and is it worth it? Any tips would gratly be appreciated!!! Chip.

I'm curious, What do they have going on july 4th? We will be in disney on the 4th. Where can i find the info? Thanks :)

We last attended the event in 2001. On the downside we personally didn't enjoy the entertainment. They had casino table games set up where you played for fun. Being surrounded by casinos it didn't do it for us. However some adults and kids were having fun. The music was provided by a 10-minute performance of "the trash can brigade". (Sorry forget their name:o) We enjoy them in the park but didn't in the close confines of the CG. It was very loud. That was it for entertainment. Except for the fireworks.

But on the good side, the food and wine selection was wonderful. It was buffet style. They offered top shelf wines No jugwine, Boones Farm or MD20/20 insight.;)LOL They had a wonderful grilled beef tenderloin and grilled rock shrimp tacos that were amazing. Lots of sushi, fresh salads, flatbreads and great desserts to be found. They also had a raffle where they gave away dinners to CG and a few others along with bottles and magnums of some different wines and champagnes. For the fireworks, they also closed off the viewing deck for party guests only. But, they now do this anyway for CG guests. Loved watching the special 4th fireworks from the viewing deck. We may attend again if the entertainment is different.
