Okay since I'm new to Disney Cruises, I'm also new to FE. Are there rules? minimums? I'm not crafty is it frowned upon to get them off ebay or etsy?

No worries Christy. There are a bunch of us new to Disney and FE. Including myself. No rules on how crafty you need to be. However, we are going to keep our FE group to a maximum of 10-15 cabins so we are not overwhelmed especially us newbies. This is a NO STRESS group

There aren't really any rules! I ordered our FE from Etsy in 2012 for our first DCL cruise and will use that again for this one. I think that I'm going to get a little more creative this trip around with my FE and try to make a few of the gifts - although I'm totally cheating and using ideas from my previous trip!

I just realized, my two teenagers ARE crafty and each of them has a special homemade craft that they make. I will buy the supplies and they have a whole year to make some

We have 3 At-Sea Days that we could use for FE Exchanges or we could just deliver them when we are able to - we'll have to decide that as a group as we get closer.

We have decided to limit our FE Exchange to a total of 15 cabins in order to help everyone be better organized and prepared!

Hello, our family will be participating in the FE. It is myself (Shakeema) favorite character Tink DH (Anthony) Favorite Grumpy & our DD (Azhane) she will be turning 18 on the 5th. She has CP & is confined to a wheelchair. Her favorite characters are Tianna, Elsa, Anne & Olaf. She has no use of her hands so wearable items ex: jewelry, makeup, backpacks or music, movies, stickers, & magnets would be best for her. We will be in room 9170.

Aloha everyone! I'm from O`ahu, Hawai`i and this will be my family's very first cruise! Since we are huge Disney fans, what better way to go about taking our first sail! I'm sure like everyone else, I've been doing tons of research trying to make this a memorable vacation.

We will be traveling with other family members, but my kids and SIL's family have the younger children. I will see if she wants to join in on the fun.

We will be on Deck 9: myself, DH, DS (14yo at sail date), DD (9yo at sail date), and DD (8yo at the sail date). We are DL Premium Annual Pass holders and frequent DL several times a year. We're very excited for this cruise! We're on the fence about going to WDW after the cruise, but since we are traveling an ocean and across the nation... we shall see.

I'd like to have my family participate in the FE exchange. If you would kindly add us
I had some questions:

- What are the gift guidelines? Handmade, store bought, edibles, size, does it need to be Disney, price range

- I saw that the FE will be limited to 15 cabins. How do we know which families we will be doing the FE with?

Thank you for the warm welcome! My DDs love making new friends! How old are your friends' sons? My nephews will be 6 and 8.5 at time of travel.

I'm on the fence as to which dining to choose. Currently, we have 1st dining. May I ask what swayed you to choose 2nd? Pros/cons? Anyone else care to chime in with your reasonings?

Also, does anyone have any info on Pirate Night? When does this deck party start and finish?

Yay!! So excited to hear about all the kids that are coming. My god daughter will be turning 9 the day of the cruise departure and she will be thrilled to have kids her age especially since she is the youngest of our group of kids going. Maybe later in the year we could get a thread going for the kids so they can start to meet each other online.

Welcome!! I have added you to the first page as well. We haven't really set the "rules" for our FE group - I'm hoping that we can figure that out together. Right now we have 13 cabins I think for our group of FE. I'm sure that there will be 2 more that come along that want to join in! If we go over the 15 cabins, there can be a second group set up. Right now, all are in the first group.

Speaking of FE - do we want to decide as a group any limitations?
