Where will you be watching fireworks?

We will be at Epcot for Illumintions, Our favorite show!

we're going to WDW for 4th July this year, it'll be our first 4th July in America (seeing as we're British!) I'm guessing it will be pretty busy... any recommendations?!

From reding others reports, it seems that the MK will close to capacity at some point during the day. We are arriving on the 4th and going to Epcot....handles large crowds better and we want to see the special Illuminations.

We are only focusing on the fireworks, not planning on standing in line for rides or having a TS meal. We will grab something to eat CS and ust chill out until time to get a spot for the show. We have 7 more full days for the rides.

From what I have read the MK does the 4th's fireworks show on the 3rd also, so you could see it then if you will be there on the 3rd and then go to another show on the 4th. Many people suggested watching the fireworks from outside a park on the 4th.

We are going to brave Illuminations inside the park and just take our time getting out of the park.

We will be there July 4. I made adr for the liberty traven but now Im thinking of changing it because of crowds.

we'll be there for the 4th...i think we'll be at AK and Epcot on the 4th and MK on the 5th we have adr for liberty tree on the 5th

Yes, parks get very crowded and MK does their July 4th fireworks on July 3 and July 4. In 2007 we did MK on July 3rd - I don't think they closed the park, we were there all day - and Epcot on July 4th for IllumiNations. IllumiNations was the same and they added a special ending to it that was amazing.

Try to do both if you are there for both and have a wonderful time.

We'll be there also. I think we'll do a waterpark then EPCOT since we're staying at YC and we can walk back.

We haven't made plans yet fully for the 4th, I think we are doing a water park and then will prob head to one of the beaches at the MK resorts and watch the MK fireworks from there.
