July 3rd-WL Fireworks or BLT Standard?

Hi! We are debating a staycation room for July 3rd. We aren't going to the parks, just enjoying the resort and watching the 3rd ("4th" of July) fireworks from the resort. We can do a WL fireworks view or for $30 less, a standard room at BLT. DH has not stayed at BLT but has stayed at WL, but there are far more "fireworks" viewing rooms at WL vs a few studios we might get/might not get that would have an obstructed castle view. Thoughts?
(We've done the Poly scene for many years and don't want to do that this time around and GF does not interest us.)

Which do you prefer for the Resort Day portion of your trip? For myself a resort day means lying around the pool and I find WL to be the most relaxing atmosphere for that. I ask because for others a Resort Day can mean going to DS and resort hopping so BLT would be better being on the monorail.

WL is better themed and more relaxation.

WL is definitely more relaxing but if fireworks are your priority, I would do BLT. You can see fireworks from the WL, but not all of them, even in a fireworks view room. If you are at BLT, you have more places to go (not your room) to see them better than you would at the WL.
