July 3rd Fireworks - WOW

Live here from the Contemporary - my DD's and I are having a great time with tons of fairy dust on this trip.

Just wanted to let everyone know they did the Fantasy in the Sky this evening and will do it again tomorrow at 9pm and it was spectacular. Not only did they shoot fireworks over MK castle, but they were shooting identical fireworks from the island in the lagoon so you got double bang for the buck. We had a great view from our 8th floor MK view room (oh yeah baby ).

I'll post pictures and a detailed trip report soon.

PS - 10th floor of the tower on the Bay side is completely closed off, with a cloth/drape covering it from view.

This is funny because I was going to post nearly the same. We were down near the castle and it was breathtaking! I had goosebumps at some parts.
Way to go Disney!!

It's packed now. It wasn't bad until late Saturday pm. With half the 10th floor being blocked off I wouldn't count on an upgrade, but here's hoping for the pixie dust for your upgrade.
