July 30, 2010 Mickey's Adventures England to Espana Cruise

Morning all - hope everyone is having a great weekend

25 weeks and 6 days til our cruise :)

It is cold here in Suffolk UK and we had a bit of snow overnight. I am so done with winter now, I am already for spring and t shirts and not getting that horrible too cold to get out of bed feeling!

We have still not told our little girls that we are cruising again - granted the little one who was two a couple of weeks ago would not really "get it" but our 4 and a half year old still talks loads about "Mickeys Special Boat" and our cruise last year. She is going to be soooooo excited to cruise again but if possible I want to keep it a secret until the last minute - maybe even til we get to the port!

Anyone else keeping a big cruising secret from their kids?

What 25 weeks :scared1::scared1: I better get on with my diet as I join in Weight Watcher:sad2:

Oh wow, keep secret and surprise her at Dover :love:

I am waiting to hear about my husband's work if agreed for two half weeks off for next year April 2011 for RC cruise and I hope it is on... as kids don't know about it as they thought we are going to Dream Cruise but not RC wink...

Weather - very cold here but no snowing...

Mkmummy - my friend was telling me about Olympic Canada finish yesterday as one of her daughter was standing on stage and singing...

Shhhh I just booked Carnival Dream for Christmas 2011:woohoo:

Woohoo! Just booked my flights, got all 4 tickets from Rochester to Heathrow r/t with skymiles! So far with cruise and flights, we have only spent $3900.:thumbsup2 . We plan on trying to upgrade at port but if none are available, we will be fine with our room(a gty 12).

That is great that you can get flights this close. I tried to use Airmiles when the flights opened up and all I could find were flights with 3 or 4 stops to London, the return was ok, I guess I need to find a better reward program.

Shhhh I just booked Carnival Dream for Christmas 2011:woohoo:

May I ask why you picked the Carnival Dream? I am looking at it for Spring Break 2011 but the other new ships, EPIC, Oasis and DCL Dream seem more exciting, but I keep figuring I must be missing something.

We tried Carnival last summer one of their older ships the Glory & had a good time! So variety, price & it was one of the first Chistmas vacation cruises listed! And it is or will be a realtively new ship with nice amentities

We are booked on the Epic for April Vaca 2011 and are looking forward to that as well and I am currently looking at the Allure for February of 2011 as well but might push that back to another date!

On NCL and Carnival I have been booking 3 cabins two balconies & an inside stateroom the cost for all 3 is under 9K! I found that price very agreeable especially for the Xmas holiday when all prices are doubled!

I have not gotten pricing yet for the Allure but I am sure it will be more expensive and as for the Disney dream I am waiting for a 7 day cruise as my wife will not do the short itineraries & I will not do back to back as DCL is expensive enough!

Hi Andrew

Hey, are you coming with us ::yes:: on this cruise ;)

Scottishwee35

We are going to hide, in the walk in wardrobes, of our Cat 3, and stowaway on this cruise all the way to Barcelona.

Funny enough, I was invited to enter a prize draw for a *free* Europe DCL cruise on Friday, 10/11 nights or the English repos so you *never* know....

Hi everyone else.

You are more active than the Baltic thread...

We cruised on RCI Liberty last April nice ship nice cabin bad cabin placement!

I would agree with you about first timer's however we are not in that catagory anymore & the pricing on the other lines is so mich more attractive than DCL!

The big ships offer more amenities & activities & if you do not mind people (& who would really cruise if they did) are not really any different than the smaller 900 ft:lmao: ships!
