July 30, 2010 Mickey's Adventures England to Espana Cruise

I spoked Marvin who will be our interpreter on facebook... he is looking forward to this cruise and he is looking forward to have the FUN:thumbsup2

I realised that his wife was interpretered for us on our first cruise...

Scottishwee35

My husband painted our new kitchen and it look so nicer now and he had the accident outside while he slipped and fell down lucky he didn't break his bones but hurt hand and leg...:scared1:

I was away to Dundee with Olivia for her deaf actiivies with team...

That's great that you have managed to speak to him on facebook first and how cool that his wife was there on your first cruise.

Oh no, so sorry to hear that your husband got hurt. I hope he is feeling better soon. Great news that your kitchen is painted though.

PS Bats & Vron, thinking of you right now, it is not too cold out here in Suffolk and it is dry - hope the same can be said for London.

Hi everyone,

Can't believe it's less than 11 weeks now :banana::banana:

Will have to start thinking about dresses for formal and semi formal night soon.

Am having a really stressful time in work just now and this cruise is the only thing that's keeping me going :rotfl:

Hope you are all well.

Bad weekend for husbands, I ended up taking mine to the hospital, he has an infection that requires IV antibiotics for the next 4 days:confused:

Hope your husband is better soon.

Hope things calm down at work, not much longer.:cheer2:

My youngest just got her costume for this years dance recital and they get to keep the dresses, hers will be perfect for formal night.

Scottishwee35, after my oldest saw pictures of your daughter at the wedding she is thinking she will wear a dress for formal night.:lmao:

Lisa

Mkmommy and Scottishwee hope both your husbands are fighting fit very soon.

Bought a new gown for formal night. DH and I were at a black tie event on Friday. DD has a new dress she can wear for cruise casual and it may double for a dress during the day. It will depend on her as she is 12 going on 22! Got a good bargain from Debenhams!
Or I don't think DH would have gone for it!

Viccie

Lisa, I hope the IV antibiotics kick in and make your hubby feel better soon.

Katie a cruise is always a great way to get through stressful times at work - which is why rebooking while you are onboard is a very important activity so when stress creeps up on you there is a cruise on the horizon to cheer you up!

Viccie, I need to get to Debenhams etc... and look for outfits. A lot of the stuff I bought for my girls last summer was a little on the big side for them and a lot of it still fits now which is pretty amazing considering at their ages (nearly 5 and 2) they grow so quickly. So I am spinning the line to DH that as a lot of their summer stuff still fits it will be fine to spend a bit just a couple of new dresses etc... as we don't have to buy whole new summer wardrobes. In my head there is perfect logic in that!

Absolute perfect logic! I told DH there was a sale and The dress I wanted would sell out very quickly:rotfl2: DD wanted a beaded strapless number. I let her try it on but she looked far too old in it :scared1: I had the same thing with her clothes fitting her longer than I expected for a while. I think some stores are more generous with their sizing.

I am loving all the countdowns to the cruise! I keep panicking at all the work work I've got to do before then! But the thought of getting up close to that Mouse again keeps me going............

I was at Debenhams yesterday but looked at clothes ohhh very tempt to buy the clothes but end up I bought a lovely flower bag for the wedding and ladies day for raceday..

I saw flat shoes which is so beautiful but no 20 percent off or sales so I wait until summer sales:idea: as it cost 35 pounds:scared1:

Hope things calm down at work, not much longer.:cheer2:

Here is a photo of our group before the Moonwalk. We started at just after midnight so no pubs open  .. no cocktails !! The 13.1 walk took us 4 1/2 hours and boy did my feet hurt afterwards.

For anyone who's not aware .. the Moonwalk is sponsored by Playtex so the idea is to walk in a bra that's been decorated. You don't have to, a lot of people had t-shirts on under their bra's, but we braved the cold (and it was baltic freezing). A load of men took part too and all wore bra's .. they looked great!

So, here we are before we started ... Vron is in the middle and I am on on her left.

We raised about £900 for the WalktheWalk charity which provides assistance and grants to 3 or 4 breast cancer charities. :thumbsup2
