tchrmom, chromium is 24 of course. But, chromium is sooooooo yesterday! The element of the day is vanadium! Atomic number 23, a prime number by the way!

I can almost smell the pizza and chicken fingers. Hey STHcruzer, are the chicken fingers and pizza any good on the cruise?:confused3 Can you help a rookie friend out with some advice and tips?

I'll probably regret asking this but, XLT, how did your fourth go? How was your speedo received by your party guests? I hope your fourth was safe as well and there were no incidents like neighbors scrambling to get out of the way of horizontal firework displays. My crazy neighbors were knocking over tubes and accidentaly sending fireworks flying down the street about four feet off the ground. I doubt that wouldn't happen on your watch though, as I get the impression that you are Mr. Safe!pixiedust:

Anyone rec'd their cruise documents yet?
Is it time to begin expecting the documents?

Señor Psychopath...The last time I was on the Magic, I got food poisioning. I was sick for most of the cruise and was unable to go ashore to Castaway Cay. All because of those stupid chicken fingers and pizza!

Is that....yes...yes I do smell sour grapes. Your exagerated and feigned dislike for the chicken fingers and pizza leads me to believe that the chicken fingers and pizza must be D-li-cious!! Thanks STH, you've been most helpful!:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Senor.....you are correct in that I am very safe with the fireworks. No one got injured at our party. As for the speedo, I have decided to hold it for the cruise.

Is this a cruise thread or science class?? I thought you and tchrmom had paper chains to help with your obsession?

Ok, that's at least the second reference you've made to the paper chains. I'm starting to wonder if it isn't YOU that is obsessed with the chains. As for tchermom's and my excitement for counting down to the cruise, we are simply looking forward to the cruise and so we are counting down in creative ways. If we happen to learn something about the periodic table of elements along the way, so be it.
Now, at the risk of making this sound like a vocabulary class, there is a distinct difference between excitement and obsession. Excitement is the feeling of lively and cheerful joy such as that which tchrmom and I feel for the upcoming cruise. Obsession, on the other hand, is a persistent and recurring thought such as someone thinking about hot guys in speedos so much that they go out and do google image searches for them. :lmao: :lmao:

Hey, that begs the question: How are you guys accessing the internet while in transit? Are you really out of town or are you hiding out in your house with the blinds closed?

Hiding out with the blinds closed????? Who would do something like THAT? Have you seen MY TV flickering at night??????:happytv:

Friday night, our hotel had a computer in the lobby....we checked the DIS boards after we arrived in the jumping town of Chipley, FL.:surfweb:

We are now in OK City, using DSIL's computer:thumbsup2

:magnify:
Please continue the UPS watch!

Element of the day: CALCIUM!!!!!

Don't worry tchmom. DW and I have you and your DH covered. We'll keep you posted if anything arrives and if UPS allows us to 'accept' your documents.

20 is the magic number! July 29 will be upon us before we know it! :woohoo:

By the way, how was the Waffle House in Chipley, FL?

Very Good!!!!!!!

Kelly had the chocolate chip waffle.......and while it wasn't as good as XLT's, it was good.

Did you get to go to Lido Beach this weekend?;)

What? XLT's are better than those from the world famous Waffle House? I'm going to have to taste it to believe it!

Did you get to go to Lido Beach this weekend?;)

Yes, we did in fact. How did you know? We were invited last minute. To be perfectly honest though, I suspect we got invited only because we have some sweet blow-up floaties. You'd think they'd at least offer to help with blowing them up since that's the reason we were asked. But nooooooo!:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Sorry! I crack myself up. Señor Psychopath, party of one. Señor Psychopath, party of one.

To celebrate the element of the day (Potassium) let's all eat a banana!!!!!

Well.....I have to admit I too have had "floatie envy".:lmao:

Now, see, that's the spirit tchrmom. Unfortunately your DH has to be a party pooper with his anti-science posts. What did the table of elements ever do to him? I don't understand it because he will be just as excited as the rest of us come July 29! And he raves about those chocolate chip cookies!

Do the banana dance:  How about some banana foster? Or a banana split? Banana pudding? Banana bread? I'm going bananas!

Well.....I have to admit I too have had "floatie envy".:lmao:

Well, I know a floatie isn't quite a jetski but apparently others are envious too.

By the way, the paper chain is now hanging and looking extremely short!:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
