Here's the "baby" at her senior prom pictures.....hope everyone had a nice weekend!:goodvibes

JoAnn--she is a beauty! Hope they had a wonderful time!

Hi Guys ,

Sorry its been a while since I posted!

Joann - your 'baby' looks great.

We are on our way to flyball comp as its a bank holiday here in the UK.

There is a little extra spice to this comp as Dave is running Floss in one team and I'm running Ben in another team and we have been drawn in the same division :scared1: It will be interesting to see how they cope against each other. Although on paper Floss' team are faster than ours - but we have the experience!

Oh well we are packing up the motor home - will let you know how we get on!

Take care
Helen x

Ok, thanks Helen! I hope you won!!

We're heading home from London tonight...we spent the weekend with our DD23 and the day with Lynn & Keith yesterday....we pretty much saw the whole city in three days.........great trip, highly recommended!!:thumbsup2

How exciting, Helen! I will be anxious to hear the results! I bet it was quite an experience. That must be so much fun!

JoAnn, I am sure you had a wonderful time with your daughter and how nice to see Lynn and Keith. I think of them so often when I look at our picture from the last night on the cruise with both of them and Helen and Dave and MaryAnn and me and Garry. I am sure Tom took the picture.

We have really had exceptionally nice weather for almost a week!:cool1: I don't think it is going to last. When we had the nice holiday weekend, the weathman said it was our first weekend without rain since November. I think our record for rain on the weekend is going to return this weekend!:stir:

Wonderful, JoAnn! I will be on the August PC cruise with Lynn and Keith and just signed them up on the FE list . . . I told them to give you my love when they saw you!

Thx to you both!! It was great seeing Lynn & Keith again.......since we sailed with them in 2005.......we've met them in NYC, on our cruise last summer, Hamburg, Germany and then in their hometown...London, England. It was so cool seeing the London sights with them as tour guides. They took us to Harrods, Hyde Park. Covent Garden and the National Gallery. Those sights were truly the highlights of our visit.

With my oldest interning in NYC this summer, let's all try to meet again sometime? It would be cool if we all could. Do you think you could head to NYC this summer Harole Ann? I know Julie is sailing most of August....I'm on a 4day Wonder in late July......I guess finding a good time may be a challenge.

What's everyone else's summer look like?:cloud9:

I could meet between July 17 and August 9 . . .

Ok, how's Saturday, July 19th for everyone?

JoAnn--We would really love to, but as soon as the boys finish All-Star baseball we are planning to head to South Carolina for our oldest grandson's birthday. We do have next July marked for New York when Helen will be there. I really do want to see all of you.

I'm just sending out dates right now. I'm not sure of my schedule until it gets closer..........I'm sure we'll reunite one day Harole Ann (hopefully it will be on a ship!):goodvibes

Hi all,

Well last weekends competition was exciting - both dogs ran really well and in the division both teams won 4 races each so it really went down to the wire - Sadly Dave and Floss' team won by a paw but only just.

Ben and I will get him next time:lmao: Anyway a 1st and 2nd wasn't too bad:thumbsup2

Joann, glad you enjoyed your stay in the UK, I bet you've seen more of London than me!

7 weeks left at school and its manic - I hate report writing but its got to be done.

I heard yesterday that I am going to stay in Yr1 and share a class again so I'm really pleased. I actually went to university with the girl I'm sharing with and we get on great.

I will be looking into booking my flights mid Aug for next year -I think we have managed to con my dad into looking after the dogs for 3 weeks so our plan is 1 week NY,1 wk WDW then onto the 7 night cruise. I can't wait. I will let you guys know when I've got the flights sorted so we can confirm our meet.

I'm busy reading books on dog breeding at the mo and I'm excited but scared about the prospect of breeding Floss -If things work out we might have puppies running aroud all over the place at Christmas :scared1:
Oh well got to get back to the reports

It must be nearly time you lot finish for summer in the states.
Take care

Thx Helen,

There were no British accents in London, it was all foreigners! It was an amazing place, we should all go back!:thumbsup2

Sounds like you had a fabulous trip JoAnn! And to meet up with Lynn and Keith added to it!!!

Love to get together in NYC on the 17th but Tom & I will be on an Adventures by Disney trip to Wyoming from the 16th of July to the following Wednesday (the 22nd?). The 27th is my nephew's wedding. Otherwise, it looks clear for us.

Been busy with the end of school soon and getting a live in aide ready for my mom when she's released from rehab next Thurs.

Love to all!!!!!

Maryann

Just bumping us up! Hope everyone is well. And if you are in the NE, cool!

Sorry, I haven't been around in a while, we've been swamped with the end of the school stuff and Jess graduating! Tara comes home from London on Saturday also!! Hope all is well with mom, I hope your aide helps with everything!

How's everyone else? When's your last day!

Hi guys,

Hope everyone is ok.

Joann, I know what you mean about being swamped. The next 4 weeks are manic. We don't break up until 18th July.

We are away again this weekend, as we've got another competition. Looking forward to some time away from writing reports.

MaryAnn hope every thing is ok with our mum.

Take care.

Helen, sounds like you had a good weekend with the dogs. Good luck again and also with the breeding. At one time we had what seemed like the original hundred and one dalmations! They were everywhere, but it was lots of fun, so good luck with that too, except you want to keep them all!::yes::

Maryann, I hope all is working out for you with your mother. I know it can be trying times.

JoAnn, your life must be really busy right now, but at least school is over, isn't it? It always seemed to me that it would turn cold and rain as soon as school was out, but not this year, whee!:cool2:

Garry goes for his 6 month check-up in two weeks so we are hoping for another good report. He has been feeling great so hope that counts for something, but I know there is no connection. I will keep you posted.

I am sure we will all get together by next summer when Helen comes to New York.

I just booked our dinners at Disney for November and could not get Le Cellier for any night. I knew I should have called earlier, but we still got everything else we wanted and made a substitution.

That's insane that you couldn't get Le Cellier for November! Everyone I talk to, has had trouble getting that ressie!:confused3

School's out next Tuesday and we just had a horrendous heat wave. My youngest is graduating and the other two are coming back soon from Europe. The oldest will be home to help with the grad party on Saturday.

Best wishes to Garry with his checkup!

I'm not giving up on our reunion this summer, I just want to wait and see when we can really make it to NYC......... How's everyone else doing with the crazy weather???

Hello all!

Just a quick check in. Thanks for the best wishes. Mom comes home today. We got a live in aide which will help, I hope. She starts today as well. Please keep us all in your prayers.

Good luck with the dogs, Helen. Say Hi to Dave.

Harole Ann, good luck to Garry. Let us know.

Stay cool, JoAnn. Good luck with the party. We end school on Tues. as well. Part of me is thrilled, the other part really doesn't want to stay home......
