Sallie,

I just noticed you have two cats. We do, too!! This is getting scary.:scared1:

i got my dvd today. :cool1: i will probably watch it tonight. i still have not recieved the new castaway club card. maybe i will have something special in the mail when i get home today.

Which university is your DD graduating? ( sorry if i'm been nosy)
:flower3:

She's at Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication, Chislehurst, Kent. See you're in North East England. We lived in East Sussex for 10 years and moved to the USA in 2004 just after she finished at Roedean in Brighton and went of to Uni. We'll be over 17th to 20th July for her actual Graduation on the 18th.
Charmaine

And I could be your 2nd cousin 5 times removed. Don't they say there's only 6 degress of separation between us all. Hey, wait, that means we're all related???!!!!!!!:scared1:

Well, we wouldn't have to be adopted then because we're all family. ;)

We received our DVD yesterday. Got our castaway club cards a week and a half ago. I haven't watched the DVD either - same as podcasts? I downloaded them and had my daughter watch them.

Happy Friday to all :woohoo:

Great Idea!
So, we are just in a holding pattern right now, until we hear from Former CPer? Is that correct?

I just upgraded to PayPal Premier so that I could get a debit card for Europe (we use a small bank in MT and they don't have any European affiliates - go figure :confused3 ) So, they would charge you a fee if I paid you though PayPal? I could send you a check instead? I hate fees to use my own money - seems so unfair!

Longest cruise we've done was the 14-night Panama Canal Eastbound.
I know - how will we ever adjust back to normal life and reality??
We had originally booked the 11-night Med and the Transatlantic so that we would be onboard over our actual celebration days. DCL did give us the same stateroom for those cruises. We were going to stay in Barcelona for the 10-nights between the cruises - but after working out the cost of hotel, food etc. it just makes more sense to stay aboard. So we booked the 10-nights yesterday and couldn't get the same Cat as the other cruises. Pity that we didn't book it at the same time as the other's as we probably would not have needed to move for the 10-nights.

Yes I did the 14 night Panama one in 2005 really great, really enjoyed it, it was very relaxing with many sea days, this one will be far more active, I will set the record in 2008 15 nights!

HI Andrew, how are you feeling? I hope the headaches are easing.

sending :pixiedust:

I do not know if you have seen this from the transatlantic thread but they have done up the shops for Europe.

Here are some pics of the store windows, and some of the special merchandise they have available for the MED sailings: I thought they were really pretty:

This is certainly a graduation year. Our DS is graduating Monday with his Master's. Hey, that's another thing to celebrate on this cruise:
The end of college tuition!!!

Sallie,

I just noticed you have two cats. We do, too!! This is getting scary.:scared1:

OFF TOPIC -Sorry...this is scary Maryann.. cat lovers are wonderful people :thumbsup2 unfortuatley, one is very sick, I’m going to the vet when I get home- she has a kidney disease, which was diagnosed about 4 months ago, so I knew this was coming- I am heart broken right now. They are twin Siamese cats which I’ve had for 14 years.
Thank goodness I have this thread to keep my mind busy- she stays on my lap at home when I am reading and posting.. Needless to say I’m just as worried about the other cat missing her sister if she does pass on soon- I’ve heard the second cat may go into a non eating stage and not last long after the twin is gone.
I hope you get to meet both of them when you come over.

If we wear a skirt into the churches, does it have to be below the knee? Reason I'm asking is that I just bought skorts (looks like a skirt but has shorts underneath - can't see the shorts) but it is slightly above the knee. Is that acceptable?

Oh Sallie, I am so sorry to hear this. I am sending pixiedust: your way. They really are like members of the family. We lost our dog about 3 weeks before our daughter's wedding last year. I don't think you ever get over it.

But...... let's think positively. I hope to meet both cats, too. We are praying over here.

Its something thats running on the 2008 E/bound repo thread, that moves very fast, so if someone posts and their post is numbered an exact thousand yesterday they had post, 59,000 that person is a pirate, teres a battle between the ladies and gents who gets the most pirates.

Lynn asked if she could get a pirate post for 2400, as we move slower I suggested the big PIRATES are dissers posting at 500 or 1,000, but if you get a post with a hundred you can be an honerary pirate:

OK?

:ssst: :ssst: ANDREW - your giving away our secrets!! :rotfl:

pirate:

Well to add some fuel to the fire!!

OMG I actually got one? :faint:

Is there anyone who gets motion sickness?

DH gets Motion, air, train, car and anything else sick. On our last cruise we discovered Bonine doesn't make him sleepy and Ginger is a great natural solution. Think I read that somewhere on another thread.

She seems very happy, but I think I keep hearing Andrew's name more than mine lately!

 As long as you don't slip elsewhere (sorry - that one may be tought to explain) - as for me - around here - when I say Andrew - they all assume its DS and since he's getting ready to leave the ST's years (Stinky teens)its all par for the course! :lmao: :lmao:
