Ok i don't know how much I'll be around tonight.

At school tomorrow (Wed) I am having a performance management observation -so I am kinda nervous and need to work hard for it.

Since going partime (2.5days) 2 years ago I dont have my own class anymore. Instead I go into 5 diffferent ones. Its the same 5 each week - for example on every Tuesday morning I teach yr2 p. However I find being observed in a class thats not your own doubly hard.

Although I am a big worrier.

GOOD MORNING

Congrats on the pirate: Andrew & Joanne.
Thanks
DH gave me a bottle of each of the wines on the Med Cruise list for Mother's Day. We have had 5 of them now and every one was excellent. We are saving the champagne for when we get our room assignment. Maybe that's why I'm so impatient.
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Sandra
I like to order some for myself in advance then it feels -free- on the cruise

Hope everyone goes back to check these - very good Andrew!!

Yes, we are having marinated, grilled chicken breasts
:rotfl2:
DW just checked our reservation online and we have a stateroom # instead of just Cat 6 GTY. We are in 5648. :cool1:
It's on deck 5 in the stern where the curve starts on the starboard side. Looks like possibly a little bigger balcony as a result. Anybody ever stayed there?
Congrats
Andrew--maybe it is the glare from the screen..

Possible

Brent was our cruise director on our last two cruises! Really enjoyed him.

I have never seen him.

I had a strange thought whilst I was in the shower this morning.

As a lot of people are heading for Barcelona before the cruise and for all you American folks it will be at least a couple of day prior because you've got long haul flights to make. Those of us here in the U.K who are not leaving home till the morning of the cruise (like me) will probably be talking to ourselves for the 36-48 hours. I wonder how many pirates I can acumulate in that time :rotfl: :rotfl: pirate: pirate: pirate:

Good evening, everyone! It's just midnight here in LA & still stuff to do before I go to bed. Andrew, hope your headache is gone.

Congrats to all you pirates out there! I can't believe how much you've posted since this morning!!

Do we have a total headcount for how many people we are buying for, for the goodie bags? I want to get mine done and packed up.

Thanks,

Susy
Hi & welcome back to the thread!:goodvibes Well, as some have answered you, we are exchanging one gift bag per family, about $15-$20, and something that represents the area you're from (I imagine all us California folk will want to exchange with others) - oh, and it was suggested to put your hometown/state on the bag.

I can't get my computer to open it, what kind of file is that?

My computer thought it was power point, but then it didn't open it properly.
It's in Excel. Would you like me to put the same info in Powerpoint? I can do that.

Ok, what does anybody want from Los Angeles? They sell little cans of smog here...California oranges - I don't think you can bring fruit? - A little mini-Hollywood sign? Just kidding on all the above.

So...everybody just gets one bag from one other family, I guess? We are really three families, should I bring three bags?

Last year on Magic in Mexico we each brought one thing for each person - I brought gold 50th anniversary mickey antenna toppers.

And when is the meet for the trade?

Thanks,

Susy
Methinks there'll be a few bags with Disneyland stuff :) The meet is supposed to be on Sunday @ 9:30am on the Promenade Lounge, but I think the experts are still deciding on final location.

In Mexico, we were able to get on the ship a little early because we were concierge, is that also true for Med?

And what time is everybody planning on getting to the boat?
Hmmm, we'll probably get there between 11:30 & noon. We have an excursion at 1:30 or so, so I'd like to get on the ship & checked in in time to take a quick look around before setting off on our exursion.

After checking out the Med navigators, it seems like there are too many shows to see them all - which ones are you planning on skipping?
None as of yet. This is the first Disney cruise for the not-so-kidlets, and so we'll have to have a family conference on which shows we want to see.

I think that when we're all posting at the same time, there is a longer wait.....Mary Jo??
Um.... what 40 sec rule? :rolleyes1

No Mercy.......AAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!
:lmao:

Harole Ann is becomig very slippery!!!!!!!!!!!!:rotfl2: :thumbsup2
Hey, I noticed that, too!

Good morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:thumbsup2
Morning, Andrew. ttyl :)

DCL SHORE TRIPS

If anyone has concerns about DCL sponsored shore trips and is considering organising their own this following thread is very good indeed.

Thanks for the tips. We ended booking with Claudio for the Rome tour. I'm debating if we should go private in Naples.

Barcelona - Segway tour on Friday & Tapas/Flamenco dancing excursion
Palermo - debating whether to go on our own
Naples - debating private tour
Olbia - we're going to wing it
Citavecchia - Claudio's tour
La Spezia - Florence & Michaelangelo Tour
Marseille - city tour, debating whether we should go on our own. I would love to take the tour to Avignon, but you have to be 21
Villefranche - changed to the Monaco, Monte Carlo, & Eze tour

... at least, these are my decisions today :confused3 :lmao:

HI Everyone!!!
I got my cabin number, I am 7546- its right in front of the elevator- do you think it will be noisy??? Jimmy is concerned about the location- should I call DCL to see if I can change it?? I did notice the i bedroom suites and the Roy and Walt suites are also in front of /next to the elevator???????:confused3 :confused3

Is there a list where we can see where everyone's cabins are with names??? .. and dont try to hide from me... I WILL FIND YOU :cool2:
2 days 1 hour and I'm free!!!:dance3:
I have my end of the year class luau today, I will try to post a pic of my cute class later!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder if we should just change our daytime excursion to include a casino visit and then head back to the ship at night (I'm a little nervous about too many long days off the ship - but my DH would love to visit a casino at some point!)

i changed our evening casino to highlights of monaco and the grand casino. it is from 1:30 - 6:00. i will have to check other reports to see how it is. i may change back.

I know that for ladies the dress code for going into the churches is covered shoulders and modest covered legs i.e knee length but what's the correct dress code for men ?

Very Sneaky!!

Good Morning Everyone (or good afternoon if more appropriate),

More GTY rooms have been assigned but still no # for us.:confused3 :confused3

It's getting so close, we're out of school and now the time seems to be flying by. We booked this cruise originally way back in April or May of last year and then when prices came down we downgraded and saved enough money to book a cruise for next February. WE've always booked a specific room so we've never had to wait for a room assignment. THis is all new to me and I'm not very good at waiting.

Well it's 11:30 am and I haven't done a thing so I best get going. I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Sandra
