Checked in with an 1130 PAT (11am was full) and managed to get the excursions we wanted for St Petersburg plus a Palo brunch on our wedding anniversary (the last sea day).

Everything was showing available for St Petersburg when I looked so hope you all got what you wanted if not going private.

Hi - I checked in this morning as well with an 11:30am PAT and a Palo dinner. I also signed up for the ballet at St. Petersburg - does anyone have any reviews/opinions of this? It's pretty expensive for $199/adult, so I want to make sure it's worth it.

The cruise meets group was organising a group tour to the ballet that was circa half the price. Someone will step in and give you details as I can access it.

We are GTY for 2 staterooms (since we booked this week)! Does anyone know if it makes a difference in terms of getting staterooms close together if we have early PAT?

Sorry, no difference, GTY is allocated by availability of rooms, it can be a random lottery, if you gave the two rooms on the same booking they will try to get them close together but that isn't guaranteed.

PAT is just the arrival time at port and all rooms will be allocated at least a week ore cruise.

You should find out your room numbers from about 45 days out, you can always ask them if there not close.

We got everything we wanted. I was surprised at how many options were still available. Much more so than our med cruise in 2013. Even got Palo dinner and brunch plus massages on sea days!

Since DH was interested in doing something different from us in Copenhagen we will likely keep those. DS and I did a half day am on the first day then we will head to Tivoli on our own. DH will meet up with us after his tour. Second day will be on our own or with a friend who lives there.

Stockholm is the one we may cancel. Only half day and we might have better options just haven't done any research.

Helsinki we have one of the full day tours...may keep it or add to our tour with TJ.

St Petersburg we are using TJ tours. My parents used them q couple of years ago for a 4 city tour and raved about them. We are planning a 2 day sm group with them - if anyone wants details pm me. And then I think we will do a private tour in the evening as DH and I want to go to dinner then do some evening photography around town.

Tallinn - we are just going to wander. Its such a short day I think it will be nice to relax and just see the scenery, take some pictures, get some souvenirs, etc.

Stockholm is easy to get around by yourself and the ship is docking just 20 minutes walk from Gamla Stan (Old Town). For Vasa / Abba Museum / Skansen you can get a ferry (part of the public transport network) from the side of Gamla Stan closest to the ship.

Have you checked with your TA? I finally emailed mine a couple of days ago since nothing was showing up on my cc. She was able to tell me how much I was going to receive and which cc it was going to be credited to.
