The majority of crowd calendars I am seeing online are showing moderate crowd mid July. Is this the new norm?

Probably because Observed 7/4 is on Monday 7/6 (week ending 7/12). So I think it is anticipation of people vacationing while taking advantage of free PTO day.

We decided to shift our dates and are looking at the end of Aug. 2020 right before schools starts. Temps still hot, but I am told crowds much lower. And it looks like the Halloween part starts in Aug. now.

Oh no! I didn't think about that when we planned our trip for July 7-14. We have to plan around my husband's weeeknd schedule. Will that week be crazy busy?
