July 2013....advice please!

We are thinking of a DL trip in July 2013. Is any week better than another as far as crowd levels go? We would exclude 4th of July week since I assume that can be one of the most crowded. Also, when are 2013 rates typically released? Thanks!

higher crowd level depends on if there are any events going on at DL or the convention center. Weekdays will be less crowded then weekends.

the events are only listed as far as February right now. some events bring in more crowds to the parks, some don't.

I would say any week in July is fine. Yes, Jluly 4 can be more busy but the last few years it hasn't.

Me too! Since we are getting APs and going the week of July 22nd this year, we need to go the second week of July in 2013 so we can go before the APs expires. (We get two summer trips out of one AP and go for at least 5 days.)
In 2014 we will be going to WDW in June. See? I have the next several years planned out too!

BTW, we love going in July and I think any week would be fine. We can't go during July 4th because our APs are blocked for the holiday.

We are going July 2013 too! Most conventions that'd effect crowds (ie cheer/dance ones) are usually in the spring. The D23 convention isn't until August 2013.
