We went to wdw in Aug of last year and it was not to bad but I was wondering how bad it is in mid July? As for the parks and what not....I know it's going to be HOT I live in Miami lol
We are looking at the Boardwalk two bedroom and would like to know if 49 more points is worth it for Preferred?
If anyone has been to the Boardwalk I would love to hear all about it:) thanks

We are planning our family trip for 2012 for the first week in July. My wife is a production planner and her place of work closes for the first week in July. So that's when we go with our family. We've been doing this for several years now. We've also have done the last week in August. I think it's hot all summer in Florida.
Our home resort is Boardwalk and we love the Boardwalk view. Preferred and Boardwalk are the same points but are different requests. We've never had a noise issue unless you don't like the Friendship boat horns.
We love to sit on our balcony at night watch the Illumination sipping on a cup of GOOD coffee. We listen to the music lofting up from the Boardwalk and people watch before heading off to sleep.
If you've been in the summer you should already know how to plan for summer at Disney World. But if you don't this is our plan. Early Extra Magic Morning hours then back to the Boardwalk for some R & R for the heat of the day. We head out early evening to the Extra Magic Hours park. Have a great time and maybe we'll run into you at the pool.
If you look for our group at the pool we have 2 additional grandchildren not in this picture.

Thanks so much:) it is going to be my mom, dad, sis,BIL,Dh and our two DD's. It is going to be our 1st trip with all of us and my DH 1st time at WDW.
I am with you with going to EMH in the AM and back to the pool:)
I now just have to hope that we'll get it for mid July!
