Haha yes, a very busy month x.x Moving tomorrow, then 3 days to clean like Cinderella (we need that deposit back!), then officially move in to new place and at 8am on the 1st, we're flying to San Francisco for the job interview! Crazy week.
Oh yes and on top of that, I still have homework and family matters. lol

Also busy emotionally, from my grammy to my parents to a WDW trip! As much as I'm excited for everything, I'm also excited for July to be over

Not sure how you feel about it, but that is cool. I went to a wedding in the fall of a relative who was divorced from her husband for over 20 years. I don't know the exact amount of time. It was sweet to see them get back together.


In one week from today, at this exact time (8:22 AM), my DH and I should be on our plane getting ready to take off!!

I feel okay with it and my little sister has always wanted them back together, so it's one of those CONGRATS moments

Yeah, that is definitely a strange turn of events. While it's not the first time I've heard of it, the fact that they've been divorced for so long is what makes it a bit strange LOL!!

Yes, it is strange on the outside, but I suppose my family has always been odd. My parents divorced when I was 3 and I grew with them still talking to each other and occasionally going on family trips.
When my sister was born (different father), my dad was around to help and such. When my sister was around 3, my parents re-married after a 10 year divorce. Unfortunately, there were still some kinks to work out and they had to divorce again about a year later. So now ... another 10 or so years later, they're giving it a go again! Crazy kids ...



So I'm moving tomorrow and within all the sorting and packing, DH and I found our Disney Towels!!! Like beach towels, we're uber excited cause we got them on our honeymoon:

Congratulations to everyone who lost weight! I started weight watchers 4 weeks ago and lost 6 lbs. I'm stuck there though. I got to work out more

I just love Kohls! I got a 30% off coupon this week and was able to get some shorts, tops, and capris. I have lost enough weight that what I had was too big. Yay!! Now I have $30 in Kohls cash that is good starting after July 4th for any last minute needs. DS and I also got new sneakers yesterday and are working on breaking them in.

Kohls is my favorite store. I did not plan very well today, if I spent another $12 I would have had $20 in Kohls cash. I plan on using my 10 for a couple more shirts.

I PM'd Cheshire Figment, and got an answer back. Great news!!! In case anyone else is interested also....seems there is at least one ticket window and one guest relations window open at all parks at least 30 mins prior to anyone being allowed into the parks. This includes anyone going in for ADR's, so since our reservation at BBB isn't until 8:55, we're gonna be fine!

So we had DD's bday party yesterday. She turns 7 on Thursday. It was so cute, Mickey & Minnie. I made all the kids Mickey or Minnie ears, we had a pinata, water sponge wars (we do sponges instead of balloons) I made her a Mickey head cake....and all the kids had a BLAST!!! (and the adults did too!) It was a great party, and it made it even more exciting to DD knowing there's not even 2 weeks til our vacation!

That is great that you will be able to get the tickets.

Ok so CM appreciation cards are printed, cut and in my Mickey bag along with pre-cut mole skin to go on those areas of shoes that rub. I'm thinking about snagging a small pair of scissors and putting them into one of the checked bags but not sure if I will need them (what do you guys think). I have my purex sheet's ready to go. Tomorrow I'm calling the nice lady I arranged to watch DD's cat and telling her that "There has been a change in plans and I don't need someone to watch Izzy anymore." It is the most polite way I could think of telling her. I realized today that if DH get's in on the 10th, I have 14 days until I see him again! That's 2 weeks!

Last year I broughth the moleskin but no scissors, I ended going to the gift store and bought nail clippers to try and cut it. I never though about pre-cutting it. I may have to try that.

Over the past 7 weeks I have lost 20 lbs!!!! Whoo hoooo! I plan to continue my diet even at the world. I am so so determined!!!!!

I have tried many many diets over my lifetime and this is honestly the easiest one I have ever done. And I feel great. I am a happy camper these days.

We'll be at Bonnet Creek July 9-16! Congrats on your weight loss too!! I've lost 25 lbs in the last few months and buying new clothes was awesome. From your signature it looks like you are a hockey mom too? My DS 13 has played travel hockey since he was 5.

Okay, just about had a heart attack.

I am transferring the files from my work laptop (the one I use all the time) to my desktop. I want to get all the files off of the laptop so I can put the computer away for whenever they ask for it back.

I moved my "Disney" folder first because it is the smallest folder. My husband was helping to show me where to put it. Now, keep in mind, he normally doesn't look at my stuff so I can put info where ever I want on my stuff and not worry about it. Well, the first file in the Disney folder says "Cirque tickets." He sits down at my computer and the first thing he does is open that dang folder! I shut the folder quickly and I don't think he saw it. I would have cried if he had because I really want to surprise him.

Then, I go back to my computer to check if the files have gone through, and he has the folder where I am sending stuff open. Now, he didn't have the Disney folder open, but I know how he likes to check to make sure files have transferred. So, I said... "Did you check to see if the files are there." He said, "No, I was just seeing if the folders appeared there." Oh, phew.... goodness. I don't need a scare like that again!

We are staying 4 nights in the Smoky Mtns prior to WDW and she just thinks we are going home, since she really has no concept of time, we will drive as long as we can, stop at a hotel and get up the next day and drive on into WDW, I plan to have the video camera ready for when we get to the Welcome sign, I hope she is excited! She asks to go to WDW almost daily!

Well, it looks as if the rumor is true: Mary Poppins, who we all know is practically perfect in every way, said that Flynn may need her umbrella because he's going on a long journey. Why would Mary Poppins lie to me?

We were at the Tangled meet and greet by 9:15 AM. That was pretty good seeing as how we had breakfast at 1900 Park Fare! Well, we got there and were in the 10:15 AM line. They didn't do the coloring or dancing because they were worried about rain and lightning. From what i was hearing in line, people left the line when they didn't make it in the first group, thinking they could come back at 10 AM and be first in line. I know we're all disappointed about Flynn leaving, but I can't stress enough the importance of just getting in line early and waiting it out. A lot of people came back disappointed because they decided to go ride rides and come back. We had fast passes for: Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, Buzz Lightyear and Philharmagic. We also did a round of Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor. When you consider that we didn't start riding anything until about 10:30 AM and had to head to Tony's at 12:15 PM and then left MK by 2:15 PM, we did pretty well.

We also did the new Mickey meet and greet together. We had a great Photpass photographer who asked Mickey to show us around the new room. If you go, ask Mickey to show you all the little things. The attention to detail is amazing!!!!

It rained again yesterday for about an hour or so but the evening was fairly nice. It didn't rain today. There were a few sprinkles but that was it. Tomorrow, I'm going to the Grand Floridian for a mani/pedi and I'm doing Keys to the kingdom on Tuesday.

We moved to the Hilton Bonnet Creek this afternoon. It's very nice and they have a lazy river that connects three pool areas. I bought a raft thing for $12 when the rental was $5. We might consider it for future trips.

We got a lot done yesterday. Glad to see that the crisis was averted. We opted to board our dog this year instead of having our niece watch him. If I was half as talented I would attempt something for the get together on the 6th.

Awesome shopping trips you have been having! I would board our 2, but I just can't stand the thoughts of it. They are homebodies, and will be happier at home together. Of course, I'll probably have to shampoo the carpet when we get back.

Sorry to hear about the sunburns. I am still pretty white myself, we have just not had a lot of really warm days to swim, and I need heat! Hang in there, you will get it done! For your toe and sunburn. I didn't realize you were in school. What are you studying?

After swearing I would never go back, I'm working on my Master's Degree in curriculum and instruction. Obama made me an offer I couldn't refuse. LOL. Part of the stimulus funds our county school system got HAD to be used for advanced degrees for teachers, so they got together a cohort, and are offering all the courses either online or here in our county, rather than making a 1.2-2 hr drive to a college. I've only had to pay for books, so I felt like I couldn't pass it up. Unfortunately, about 1 month after I started I found out Daddy had cancer, he died 1 month into my first semester, and the first 4 classes are kind of a blur... Stressing over passing my comps in October so I can graduate in Dec! TMI... sorry!

It is getting close for so many people, just can't wait to get there. I just discovered the Design Thread and Mandy designed some adorable stroller liscense plates for us.

Even though I stopped posting on the WISH thread a few weeks ago, I was kinda sorta sticking to my diet and I did manage to lose 20 lbs or so, so I did go buy some new shorts and bathing suits and was happy with that.Today we're having a family party. Tomorrow is actually her birthday and I'm taking her and two nieces and SIL into NYC to the American Girl Cafe for lunch and to just walk around Times Square when we're done with lunch. Anyone think we're going to need insect repellant? 'm still unsure on the whole socks and sneakers thing. I should probably wear them, but my feet get way too hot. I really hate doing laundry on vacation.

First, congrats on the weight loss. 2nd sounds like you have a mega week ahead. Hope DD enjoys her celebrations, and your procedure goes smoothly! As for clothes, we drive, and I don't do laundry. Unless you count washing DH's undies in the sink when he ran out! As for insect repellant, I keep hearing no, BUT I'm going to anyway, b/c I keep getting bit here. I'd rather have it than wish I needed it. Personally, there is NO way I could do tennish shoes at WDW. Water rides - yuk! Plus, i'm like you - my feet get too hot. Even though I have moisture wicking socks I run in... NO for me!

My cat's are well behaved and to be honest I feel so bad that I would have had to leave even one of them with someone they don't know:I haven't posted on the WISH board in a while either but I did manage to loose another 2lbs since the last time I posted :

I cannot believe that one week from now, I will have already seen the July3rd fireworks at MK, and be resting up for Epcot on the 4th. Wow. Starting to feel real!​

Over the past 7 weeks I have lost 20 lbs!!!! Whoo hoooo! I plan to continue my diet even at the world. I am so so determined!!!!!

I have tried many many diets over my lifetime and this is honestly the easiest one I have ever done. And I feel great. I am a happy camper these days.

Congrats on the weight loss!! What diet is it - just curious? I could use something easy!!

I can't find my beach towel anywhere online, does anyone know if they're still sold? We got them in MK and I believe it was in the big shop on main street (in July 2008).

We love buying beach towels at Disney - they have great ones.They sell them all over the place and the designs usually change a little each year. Not sure if yours are still available or not.....

Kohls is my favorite store. I did not plan very well today, if I spent another $12 I would have had $20 in Kohls cash. I plan on using my 10 for a couple more shirts.

If you buy anything else they might combine them to give you the Kohls cash......I had to go to a different Kohls to pick up 2 pair of shorts in the colors I wanted because they were out at my store. They told me to have them combine the receipts, so I ended up with extra Kohls cash.....so if you spend $12 more, you could possibly still get another $10.........

Okay, just about had a heart attack.

I am transferring the files from my work laptop (the one I use all the time) to my desktop. I want to get all the files off of the laptop so I can put the computer away for whenever they ask for it back.

I moved my "Disney" folder first because it is the smallest folder. My husband was helping to show me where to put it. Now, keep in mind, he normally doesn't look at my stuff so I can put info where ever I want on my stuff and not worry about it. Well, the first file in the Disney folder says "Cirque tickets." He sits down at my computer and the first thing he does is open that dang folder! I shut the folder quickly and I don't think he saw it. I would have cried if he had because I really want to surprise him.

Then, I go back to my computer to check if the files have gone through, and he has the folder where I am sending stuff open. Now, he didn't have the Disney folder open, but I know how he likes to check to make sure files have transferred. So, I said... "Did you check to see if the files are there." He said, "No, I was just seeing if the folders appeared there." Oh, phew.... goodness. I don't need a scare like that again!

That is scary! Glad he didn't see - Cirque is a GREAT surprise!!!!

You can add us to the list of those going to WDW in July! We are booked at POR for 7/27-8/6. We have thought about switching to BC, if we get a real good deal, although we LOVE POR, IDK we will see.

Anyways, it is DD and myself and our 3 children DS14, DD11, and DD3.

This is a surprise for our DD3. We are staying 4 nights in the Smoky Mtns prior to WDW and she just thinks we are going home, since she really has no concept of time, we will drive as long as we can, stop at a hotel and get up the next day and drive on into WDW, I plan to have the video camera ready for when we get to the Welcome sign, I hope she is excited! She asks to go to WDW almost daily!

It's really looking like we will be able to go a day early. We will be staying offsite for that one night (the 2nd), which will be a new experience for us as we have never stayed offsite. I'm kind of apprehensive about it, but it's just for one night, so how bad could it be?

It won't be bad because you are in Orlando!!!! Where are you staying? We have done that before and it is not bad at all. We have stayed at the Hawthorne Suites and also Buena Vista Suites (great breakfast buffet btw).

My trip to Kohls was successful, not only did DD find a pair of sneakers on sale, I found a pair. I wasn't planning on getting a new pair, but I could not turn down the deal. They were regularly $120 on sale for $37. I then got another 10% off because it looked like someone had returned them (the bottom was dirty) and than had a 20% off. I got them for under $30 with tax. They are the same brand, just a different style that I got last year and they were super comfy. They are the Avia Avi-motion.

I ran into Kohl's yesterday morning to buy DD a dress to wear today, because I had a coupon for 20% off. I ended up with 2 dresses for her, an outfit for me to wear today, a bathing suit for me, 2 flip flops and undies for her. And got Kohl's cash. All I really 'needed' out of that mess was a dress for her to wear today and perhaps the bathing suit. Nice sale prices on all though, especially the bathing suit.

I am planning on doing some laundry halfway through. I have enough undies,shirts and socks, but not enough shorts.......we could hang in the laundry room together at the Boardwalk Seriously, if you can get away without doing it, that is always my first choice. We are flying SW so we can take 2 bags per person, and I will take as much as possible, so that if I have to do laundry it will be as little as possible. I bought the Purex 3 in 1 sheets so they do not take up any room.

I bought a sample size of OFF, we really have not needed bug spray the last few summers but we are going over to Ft. Wilderness for Hoop De Doo, and I remember needing it last time we were over there ( although that could have been because we were fishing).



I just love Kohls! I got a 30% off coupon this week and was able to get some shorts, tops, and capris. I have lost enough weight that what I had was too big. Yay!! Now I have $30 in Kohls cash that is good starting after July 4th for any last minute needs. DS and I also got new sneakers yesterday and are working on breaking them in.



I know what you mean about laundry and vacation, but I am still doing it too. Congrats on the weight loss!!

I did get the Purex sheets, just in case I do decide to do it.

Busy week!!!! Holy cow!!!!! We are driving down to NYC in August with our two little ones for the first time. I cannot.wait! I HAVE to take them to the Met. DD loves her AG dolls but she NEVER plays with them!!!! I will *have* to take her to the store but I am so reluctant because I don't want to drop $$$$ on things that don't get played with. Bummer. Advice???

I am not taking insect repellent. I bought some nice FACE sunscreen today for ME. I hate that crap and this one seems nice. Oh and I bought a new product, sunscreen you can spray on wet kids. Seems like a good idea. And sunscreen lip balm...sun blisters are NASTY.

2 bathing suits each?! We would not survive. Gosh, I take 1/2 dozen for my kids and a few for Dan and I.

I make everyone wear sneakers and socks because of all the walking. I am a stickler for that. I can't stand the whining about sore feet.

I am going to have to take a water bottle strap holder thingy because of my dieting. I need a ton of water. FREAK.

protein drinks for me and lots of em in my luggage (the powder). They give me SO much energy in the morning. a must have.

And bring the 12 unders for sure!

In all fairness, we live a 40 minute drive from NYC, so could go way more often if we chose. I just am usually too lazy to be bothered going into the city. I think, if my dd didn't play with her dolls, I wouldn't be doing this. But, when I asked her what she wanted for her birthday, she didn't want a party. She wanted to go into NYC, so off we go.

Congratulations to EVERYONE who lost weight, even those I didn't quote. I'm totally not ignoring you. This post is turning into a novel.

Well, it looks as if the rumor is true: Mary Poppins, who we all know is practically perfect in every way, said that Flynn may need her umbrella because he's going on a long journey. Why would Mary Poppins lie to me?

We were at the Tangled meet and greet by 9:15 AM. That was pretty good seeing as how we had breakfast at 1900 Park Fare! Well, we got there and were in the 10:15 AM line. They didn't do the coloring or dancing because they were worried about rain and lightning. From what i was hearing in line, people left the line when they didn't make it in the first group, thinking they could come back at 10 AM and be first in line. I know we're all disappointed about Flynn leaving, but I can't stress enough the importance of just getting in line early and waiting it out. A lot of people came back disappointed because they decided to go ride rides and come back. We had fast passes for: Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, Buzz Lightyear and Philharmagic. We also did a round of Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor. When you consider that we didn't start riding anything until about 10:30 AM and had to head to Tony's at 12:15 PM and then left MK by 2:15 PM, we did pretty well.

We also did the new Mickey meet and greet together. We had a great Photpass photographer who asked Mickey to show us around the new room. If you go, ask Mickey to show you all the little things. The attention to detail is amazing!!!!

It rained again yesterday for about an hour or so but the evening was fairly nice. It didn't rain today. There were a few sprinkles but that was it. Tomorrow, I'm going to the Grand Floridian for a mani/pedi and I'm doing Keys to the kingdom on Tuesday.

We moved to the Hilton Bonnet Creek this afternoon. It's very nice and they have a lazy river that connects three pool areas. I bought a raft thing for $12 when the rental was $5. We might consider it for future trips.

I cannot wait to see the new meet and greet with Mickey! I'm kind of sorry to hear about Flynn, because we never did get to see him. But if it makes the waits more managable for seeing Rapunzel, I'm sure DD will be happy to finally get to see her

It's very strange to be so busy I can only get on once or twice a day to respond to things. I feel overwhelmed trying to get all this stuff done and I have a houseful of girls right now as SIL and nieces slept over last night.
We are going to leave around 9:30 with the hopes that we'll be there by 10:30. Hopefully, we won't hit too much traffic.
