July 2011:Calling all planners-Post your dates & Resort

Goodmorning everyone:goodvibes Happy Friday!

So they really did change the park hours after I double checked a few weeks ago. I am glad I didn't print out my spreadsheet yet. Looks like the hours for AK were extended to 8pm. And they added Fantasmic to every night we are there.

With everything else that has come up this week 6 year old granddaughter Shelby fell off her bike today and broke her arm. Had surgery this evening and now we are waiting to hear. It's been a long week.

That is just terrible. Praying that everything will be alright:hug:

I am so thrilled to be spending my birthday with Mickey. Last year I spent it in the hospital and I want to erase that from my mind!!!!:cool1::rolleyes1

Well what a better way to erase that memory than a trip to Disney:woohoo:

Haha exactly!! Happy anniversary ^_^ That's amazing, I hope hubby and I make it that long :)

The years go by quick. September will be 15 years for us. We honeymooned in Disney and I would love to spend my actual anniversary down there but with DH:teacher: I will have to settle for July/Aug trip.

For us, it would be going into debt because we don't have jobs right now, we're moving and have interviews for jobs that ... if we get, we will be moving internationally, which, for us, takes a lot of money.
Lol so $80 on top of an ADR already made, is going into debt for us :rotfl:
As sad as that sounds :lmao:

Sending PixieDust that your DH an you get the job.:wizard:

And there goes another week. One week closer to vacation:cool1::cool1:

That's awful. I hope she's okay!

I made three cute little minnie head shirts today, and am realizing I don't know how to post pics. Its late and I am not messing with photobucket or whatever tonight. So imagine this: white t shirt, black mickey head with pink and white dotted bow on it. No facial features, no name. Simple and cute.

Ok now time dragged for so long and its just zooming along isn't it? Two weeks tomorrow I will be on the train heading south. Going to do that rehearsal pack tomorrow. Have my lists ready to go. I think we are set ( except for a pair of sneakers and sandals for youngest dd)

You have found a much better way to celebrate your birthday this year:) I hope you make fantastic memories and last year will just be a blip.:yay:

I didn't post earlier, because I was setting up a few patterns that I am going to use to make some stuff for DD. My goal today is to see what I want to make and get them cut while she's at school. Once I get that done, I find the sewing the much easier part. I am just holding out hope that the power doesn't go out, because we are having pretty bad storms at the moment and it's very dark out there for 7a.m.

I totally understand the $80 thing. I know the two family trips we took down when I was younger were extremely budget tight trips. My parents didn't have much, but did all they could. We always headed to the parking lot for lunch. My mom always had sandwiches out there for us. Hey, whatever it took. We were at Disney. I didn't care! Of course, we still have the hilarious memory of doing this at Universal. A flock of birds found us. Mind you, we were sitting in the car. They lined up on the cars on either side of us and sat there watching us. It was so scary, we rolled our windows up! :lmao:

2008 was my "year after the hospital" visit. My husband told me while I'll was in the hospital that if I made it, he would take me to Disney. I didn't let him forget that promise! :rotfl:

He was probably happy to have you not forget!! :goodvibes :goodvibes

I had major knee surgery planned for October of 2009, so I went to Disney in September. I called it "getting my fun out of the way so I can sit and recover." I even got an "I'm Celebrating" pin, because I was so looking forward to the surgery. bwhaha

24 days for me! I will survive!!

Oh, I so wish I would have known to get an "I'm Celebrating" pin! Oh well, definitely getting anniversary pins this time!

I think they'll do that at check in. We've got ours listed on our reservation (DDs graduation, DWs birthday, our 20th Anny), but I thought someone said those could be added on.

We picked ours up at Guest Services on Main St. We got ones for the first anniversary last year, we'll get ones for the second anniversary this year!!!!

We're staying offsite, so no Mickey Mail for us....QUOTE]

we are offsite too! No Mickey Mail but Amanda emailed me yesterday with our YES program confirmation, so now everything is confirmed and ready to go.

Where are you staying offsite?

We're staying at Westgate Vacation Villas. A family member gave us their time share week, so we couldn't pass it up, even with all the bad reviews!

Do you think it would be weird to get an "i'm Celebrating" button for a New Kidney??? LOL

I am so looking forward to this trip after all that my family has been thru with my illness!!
:banana::banana::banana::banana:

I'm very sad today. Got home last night and opened what I thought was going to be our WDW tickets, and NO WDW tickets were in the package. Just the Sea World tickets were in there. We ordered both at the same time, just separate transactions, haven't heard anything about a separate package, so I've got a call into Undercover Tourist trying to figure out where our tickets are!

On top of that, I got a couple fillings on Wednesday, and I've been having some troubles with them, been back to my dentist twice already, and am now on pain meds....yuck. Good thing is, my appt was originally scheduled for July 5th, just 3 days before we leave for WDW! Sooooo glad my dentists office called and asked if I could move it up!!

Thanks for the update on park hours. They have added all those Fantasmic showings since just last week. I had done a new calendar, now I need to change it again. That helps though, so much easier to fit in a Fantasmic show.

I can imagine it was scary at the time, but it is a really funny story now! :lmao: I have a great mental picture of it!!!

My year was 2007!

Dental issues are no fun!! Hope you feel better soon  I am sure the ticket thing will get straightened out, but that must be frustrating!!

I'm thinking celebrating a new kidney would top most celebrations out there!
