We've booked the Wonder for July 20, 2003 last week. I have 2550 and 2552 Cat 9 with view.

This is our first cruise ever and I've been reading(and lovin it). Curious about the Deck 9 Drink Station... Is this the "Free Drinks Station" and are there any other areas on board where you can get the free drinks, besides meals?

Also, where do you get the count down tickers?

Is there a map of the ship layout available on the net anywhere?

Anyone else going?

What's the earliest you can arrive to the Boat?

Thanks for the help!

the free drinks station is on deck nine....they've changed it since we cruised so i'm not sure what's available there....but at the very least, coffee, tea, milk, water, ice....maybe some juices as well...

also if you buy a refillable mug you can fill the mug during the cruise.....my husband got one, but i didn't....i drank so much soft drinks at the meals i didn't feel the need for it between meals...

for lots of info on the ship try Barb's site...i think it's at http://www.castawayclub.com

for deck plans of the ship go to the DCL site http://www.disneycruise.com

the direct link to the deck plans is (click on the links for the different decks)

Hey Doclinger

I will be on that cruise with you. Myself and 2 dds 11 and 13. Right now we have cabin 2098 booked. Relax we are all gonna have a wonderful time!

Sound great thanks for the help. What about checking in...how early can you board?

Katz,
Have you cruised before? I know that when it comes to disney there isn't much you have to worry about as long as you have the money with you. I'll be on with DW, and 3 DDs ages 6,8,9. See you there!

From reading other posts I have counted 4 (main)people I need to have tip money for plus for any porters or room service...is this correct?

We boarded about noon and there were others before us, so I'm thinking about 11:30. Your longest wait will be inside the terminal at desks to turn in documents. Be sure your forms are filled out and it will go faster.

About tipping, cash for room service and baggage. Any other special people on board you just want to acknowledge (optional). The ship provides you with envelopes denoting the 4 main persons to tip. You can take care of it with credit card or cash at Guest Serv. and then slip cards provided (like a gift certificate) into appropriate envelopes. Amount "suggested" per server and per person is on a sheet for you to figure totals.
