One of my favorite memories from our first cruise on the Magic was after putting the children to bed, my DH decided to go to bed too. It was too early for me, so I went to see "Chocolat." But first I made a stop at a lounge for a vanilla smoothy with Khaula. I was a happy camper. There was only one other person in the theater. It was so peaceful.

:thumbsup2

yes - they have a Prem-Ear!...

They have some special activities related to the new movie and such....

I just wish they would have fresh popped corn. Can't you smell it as you approach the theatre. Than when I retire I can be the popcorn master on the ship. :cloud9:

Hi Everyone,

I hope everyone had a nice Easter. I'm using the computer at the Vero Beach library. We're having a wonderful time. We had a great time at OKW last week. We saw The Turtles at the American Gardens theater in Epcot. They sounded great!

We had Easter dinner at Shutters at Disney's Vero Beach resort. The resort was very crowded. We're staying with my mom at her house in Vero. My DH is flying home tomorrow and we'll be back next Tuesday. I'll be back on when I get home.

Have a great week, everyone.

Oh, and the laundress :laundy: :rotfl2:

OK, now that is sick, WAY TOO MUCH LAUNDRY, Susan:scared1::scared1:

hmmmmm, what would I want to do? oh, yea, play a character....and make the children happy. Winnie the Pooh, yup, that is me!:woohoo::woohoo:

I'm reading some of the trip reports (what I do on days I'm at home!:cool1:)
and here is some good advice:

just pop over to guest services at some point on embarkation day and ask "What do I need to sign up for?" Tastings and Galley tours do fill up, and if you wait for them to show up later on in the daily Navigator you might not be able to get in. So if there is one of these you really want to do...check with Guest Services that first day.

I know we want to do the galley tour and the wine tasting, so I wanna make sure (OH, I hope I remember, from all the excitement of getting on the ship and meeting all of you) I sign up on embarkation day. I believe my DH wants to do the tequila tasting too, if offered.....now me, I'd rather do Mickey ice cream bar tastings:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

I really wanted to do the Galley tour - I hear that you get fresh-baked cookies at the end. Unfortunately, they don't allow children and it appears that Flounders is closed EVERY AFTERNOON!!!!! :scared1:

So I guess DH and I will have to sign up for different Galley tours, or one of us will just have to forego the experience. :sad1:

I'd also like to do the wine tasting - I'm sure DH wants to do the beer tasting. I'll skip tequila tasting - Yuck!:crazy2:

my sentiments exactly!:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

I've got an idea, IF your girls take a likin' to me....I've been on many galley tours, but I've never had 3 girls...:yay::yay::yay::yay:

We've done the wine and the tequila tasting - the tequila tasting is margaritas and such... and some shots - never realized how nice the good tequilas are. We've really enjoyed the wine tastings...

We did Martini tasting a few cruises ago. I loved everyone except the traditional. They fed us hot dogs and nacho before. Isn't that odd?

I certainly wouldn't have thought hot dogs and nachos for martinis - beer, yes - martinis, not really. :confused3

I'm a fruity cocktail person personally - not a big Gin fan. :crazy2:
