We just got off the ship on July 14. While on board, we booked the Eastern Caribbean Cruise for next year! My DH and I are So excited. We didn't even tell the kids about it yet. We want to surprise them for Christmas! I sent a request to be part of the Facebook group.

That's so exciting! Have you thought about how you're going to break the news?

We are booked on this cruise as well! Just got back from the western itinerary on the Fantasy and LOVED it! We can't wait to sail again next summer on the same ship and do the eastern itinerary.

It will be me, my DH and our DD, who will be 9 1/2 at the time of sailing! It was great making pen pal frineds before the trip, the girls all emailed each other and enjoyed meeting at the port and in the kid's club. Made it a lot easier for my DD, who can be quite shy and is an only child.

I put a request in for the FB page, we were pretty active on FB with our other group, it seemed easier on there versus the Dis Boards, but we all kept up with both!

My daughter and niece will be just turning 10 before the cruise. Maybe they can all meet up! I just joined the FB page.

That's so exciting! Have you thought about how you're going to break the news?

I think Santa may deliver the "tickets" for the cruise. While we were on board we took a picture of the stateroom we booked and I thought that would make a great presentation for the trip. I also bought my daughter a cruise charm for her pandora bracelet and I ordered my son the Mickey Pirates of the Caribbean play set. I thought I would also get each of them a Disney gift card for shopping the ship. It should be a magical Christmas this year!!

Sounds good! Our daughter will be 9 1/2 at the time of the cruise....maybe we can get them to be "email penpals" sometime after January. We did that with some girls on our last cruise and it made going to the kid's club easier for our shy daughter!

We got the Disney Cruise DVD in the mail yesterday. Plan to watch it this weekend and see if that gets our son excited about the trip

We were also there last Christmas -- it was very magical but also very crowded!!: This year we are going on a DREAM cruise from 12/28-1/2....can't wait for that one either

I went to WDW at Christmas time a little over 20 years ago. I think that was my last time I was at WDW... sad, I know. It will be DS first visit and DD's first (but she is only 5 and a half months old now so go figure

We are looking at the week after Christmas or first of Jan so the crowds should be a little less (I hope)

I had a non refundable deposit floating out there because we decided not to do the Mediterranean until the kids are older.


I decided to move our deposit to this cruise for next summer. I figure for us its the best DCL cruise / itinerary.

Re just re-booked after cruising on the Fantasy Western Caribbean. So excited!!

Welcome! We are starting to get excited as well. I love reading the reviews of the Fantasy. We leave for WDW in 10 days for a long weekend and MNSSHP. Can't wait!

Hi everyone.....we're booked of the Fantasy for July 13th I've done many disney cruises with my kids...Eastern, Western Carribean and the Med while my kids grew up. Now I'm traveling with my neice and her two children ages 7 & 5. I can't wait to see this new ship and watching this next generation of young one's become mesmerized by Disney's Magic!
