July 11 - 18 "Magic" Cruise to the Western Caribbean

from tomorrow we set sail....... but who is counting??:cool1::banana::woohoo::yay::dance3:

OMG you have me laughing too hard. After the hardest week of work I have ever had, I needed the laugh though. I stopped ovet to check on things and figure out how much longer we have until we sail--thanks for the quick update by the way!

No problem - I am surprised I am not counting the hours and minutes!!! Sorry you have had a bad week......have a Happy Mother's Day!!

I know that it's way too early to even guess....but what does everyone think is going to happen by July....think we'll get to go to Mexico? I'm really hoping that the flu will have passed by then and we get to go!!

Counting down the days to our first ever cruise!! 9 weeks....WOW!!

I think we might be OK for Mexico. It's our first cruise ever too, so there will be enough fun/new things to do that I doubt it will detract from our experience if we don't get to stop there. My daughters are younger (5 & 6) and are really only interested in the Oceaneer's Club. They are so excited about having fun in their own kids club away from parents.
Are you doing any FEs exchanges or anything?
Patty

Patty,

I don't think that I'll join in on the exchange this time....I feel overwhelmed with all I need to do to get ready for the trip that I worry that it would be too much. Hopefully my family will have such a great time that we'll book another cruise!! And then we can get more involved!!

I'm worried that my husband won't be able to relax....he's the kind of guy that needs to be busy from sun up to sun down. Trips to WDW with him are exhausting!! You're right about everything being new and exciting that it doesn't really matter where we go....but I hope we do because my kids are really excited about swimming with dolphins there.

I'll be happy wherever we go....but I know people are thinking about it and just wondering what everyone else thinks will happen. I hope it blows over too....but I work in a hospital and had to get fitted for my swine flu astronaut looking mask/filter the other day.
But I do look forward to meeting people from the boards!! Hopefully we can all chat a bit more as it gets closer!!

Chris

What is the status of the FE list? We've never been on a Disney Cruise and of course never shared the FE experience. Is this something that will pick up as we get closer to our sail date?

One other thing about FE's:

I'm finding several great ideas in regards to the Fish Extenders but not so much about gifts to place in fellow cruisers FE's.

Any ideas?

Anyone from the 7/11/09 Western doing the Four Elements - A Mayan Adventure in Cozumel? We originally had the Tulum Ruins booked but I changed it to the Four Elements.........it just sounds a little more exciting .

My kids are so excited to try swim with the dolphins in Cozumel. My husband is one who tries to see it all so he will probably want to try to figure out a way to see the ruins. But for me it's all about the kids (age 9&11) and I think they'll have a blast with dolphins!!
