Well hello everyone, I really don't know who all is customizing t-shirt designs anymore, I know you all must get tire of it. Since I didn't get a response from my email, I take it her plate is over flowing. So.. Is there anyone that can customize a few designs for me ? I have a paypal account and I will " tip" the person for doing it for me, I know it's alot of work. Our trip is in April and I want to try my hand at making some shirts...thanks alot Terri

Julia And Nick's Mom as well as several others from this section have been very busy with WAPASADI. I know that their PM boxes fill up with lots of requests for designs and they try to complete them as soon as possible.

I'm not sure if I would do too much waiting around, from the looks of the board everyones thread that has wanted something customized has went unanswered. Maybe everyone is just burnt out, I don't know. What's so bad is there are so many great designs but most have 2006 on them so you can't use the design unless you know how to take it off, which of course I do not I don't even think money could buy your way in that I knew how to do.

I emailed her through her website the beginning of Jan. Neither of my sons' names are on it so I wanted one for them. I never heard back so I guess she either quit for awhile or is super busy.
Bummer. The name shirts with all the characters were so cool.

Maybe the t-shirt designs that have been personalized should be took off the board, because seeing them makes you think you can get one done as well, and if no one is personalizing anymore then were just basicly hounding people. Also there are so many designs with 2006 on them , they are unuseable as well unless you know how to take it off the design. I also think they should have a sticky put in place that lets people know that no more custom t-shirts are being made, I haven't seen anyone get one customized in quit a while and there has been plenty of threads asking for them.

Let's not forget that people's lives don't revolve around anyone's need for a custom design. They are human too and were doing this for fun and out of their own generosity. Beggars can't be choosers....so I will wait and hopefully get a design before time to go....if not oh, well.

I take it your refering to me, I think thoughout this thread I've made it clear that I understand " this is the least of anyones worries ", I have already stated that. Also, I wouldn't say people that see a design that they like and would love to have one personalized are " beggars " my goodness that's alittle harsh. I have always tipped by paypal anyone that has ever done a design for me, and I know others have as well. I personally have already had my t-shirts done. If you find this thread not of good taste, them by all means bypass it, there are plenty of others. I was basically commenting to a post above mine. Most of the designs are older and the board could use an updated gallery.

I agree that the design gallery probably needs to be updated. As far as I know, though, no one here accepts money for making designs. They are all free.

I also disagree that no one is making custom designs right now. I know that Kate hasn't been designing lately, but others have been. Sometimes posts are overlooked for one reason or another. You could try PM-ing some designers if you have something specific in mind or re-posting if you have been overlooked.

Wow, I came to read this thread to see what cool design Kate did for someone and I am sad to have read this thread.
So many designers make designd for fun and because they like to help others have great t-shirts, autograph pages or photo frames for trips, or memory things.
I understand now why so many designers just slip away into the "no more design sharing" area. People are just not greatful for what has been given to them.
I guess if we none desingers are rude, this fabulous board will just turn into another community board. But if we give them time and say thank you AND understand when our request are not filled it may be because of something more than they just don't want to make our design. We might have desingers come back out of the "no more design" area.
I know it is sad not to have a design made/changed, but again it is free and ever so nice of folks.
Also I might add that if we request a design from one designer and they don;t reply, try posting for any designer.

I do hope everyone gets the designs they would like to have.

I am trying to graduate from college a second time, plus caring for my special needs child and running a household, etc. I was feeling a little discouraged and unloved (j/k). I can answer your question regarding WAPASADI, it is a game that a large group of people are playing , they are doing certain projects within a certain amount of days. They have a private board which they can plan with just their team members. It on the community board. But for the record let me tell you I also was chose for this game and played with the AddAwish team until around christmas...at which time I had to exit out because my dd went into the hospital, let me tell you IT IS very time consuming, I felt I didn't have a minute to myself, it drove me crazy...you are constanely on the private board doing a project with your teammates. There were time when my team members and I would be doing the project at 3:00 a.m. it was just so tiring. It was fun on one hand and draining on another. So when people say others are busy with this game you can best be beleiving that this is so true.

I honestly can't remember what WAPASADI stands for, if you look at that board it may explain, or at least I would think it would. I worked on their first project where we had to come up with a party, a very high class afair for 500 people. I represented the disabilities board on the addawish team, after we won our first challenge and moved onto doing a cruise, my dd became very ill and I just didn't have anytime for the game, trust me the team didn't lose much I really sucked at it . Really you could spend hours upon hours on these project, it's fun if you have the patience for it and a little talent. The creative board really has done very well, those of you who's home base is this board really should be proud, it's alot of work.

I am very sorry that I have not been able to respond to emails and pms lately

I have been playing WPASADI - which has been going on since early December - my team is in the last challenge before the individual rounds - it is no exaggeration to say that my head has barely hit the pillow before 4 am in the last two months - when we are in between challenges i have had to devote my time to my kids and DH and housework

that coupled with a sick one and having the flu myself has left me no time to answer any pms or emails

I am still designing but I am really limited on my time right now

I hope to get a chance to look at my requests this week while we wait for challenge results

I am very sorry that I have not answered you guys yet - but real life coupled with WPASADI have severely limited my design time

if your trip is soon and you need a design soon - please pm or email me again with your trip dates in the title of the email/pm so I can get them to you
