My mom collected Toby jugs. My stepdad has about 250 of them. There used to be a guide to the collection and the values, but the last time I saw one of those books was about 20 years ago.

My best advice is to check with the nearest store that sells this type of collectable. If you don't have one near you, the two I'd purchased some of them from over the years for her were:

www.thelimitededition.com is the place in my hometown that I'd go with all my crumpled dollars when I was a kid and wanted to make my mom happy.

I'm not sure if they've got a website, but there's a place in Rockville, Maryland called Tiara Galleries and they also had Toby's.

Have you tried the Royal Doulton site?
