Epcot Aug 31 - low crowd day

How much time to allot for Joy & Sadness - -we'll do Test track & sum of all thrills first, so arriving around 10am I guess. Thanks.

I think I read somewhere that Sum of all thrills is closing. Maybe someone can verify.

We met them on 5/20. We got to Epcot at rope drop and walked up to Joy & Sadness from IG and it was a 40 minute wait. We checked back several times & it was always around 1 hour. We finally caught them around 8 pm and it was a 40 minute wait for us.

I would say 40-50 minutes. I had enough time to get in line while my wife took my daughter to meet Baymax, then across to the entire character spot then the wife brought my daughter to meet me in line.

I recall seeing the Sum of All Thrills was closing as well. It seemed to be a pretty immediate closing...haven't seen anything since.

We met them on 5/13...walked straight there at park opening from the international gateway and waited for Baymax first (5 min) and then next to Joy/Sadness (15 min).

BEST character interaction of the trip!

Yeah, if you hit them first the wait isn't bad at all and will only be better once all that is Frozen opens but if you head there 2nd you're looking at a pretty substantial wait.

So rope drop J&S then head to Baymax--how do you think the Baymax wait will be at that time?

If you are there at rope drop and head straight to Joy & Sadness then head to Baymax, 5-10 minutes (if that)

This makes me cringe. We are planning to go straight to J/S at rope drop from the IG. I was hoping for under 30 minutes at rope drop.

Hmmm...so this will trip will be after Frozen & Anna/Elsa meet greet are open, is it better to do Joy & Sadness and then go to test track for stand-by line (not single rider) I was going to use tier 1 on Soarin and do Frozen Ride on a different day.

We went right at RD and waited about 15 minutes for J&S and then over to Baymax, this wait is faster because he can't sign and basically a hug and picture.

We met Baymax first and then J&S right at rope drop. Both waits short.

This is my exact question! Joy and sadness first or test track first? I just don't know!

At 10 am last week, we waited for about 40 minutes to meet Baymax. The Joy and Sadness lineup looked just as long at that time, so my kids decided they wanted to meet Baymax more. The best part about the wait is that building/wait area is frigid freezing cold!!

What are you doing third? This exact scenario may differ from day to day but the combined waits for doing each attraction first or second will likely equal about the same. Once Frozen opens and the new film is running at Soarin it will alleviate some of the standby crowds at Joy/Sadness and Test Track. Ideally you would want to do Epcot at two Rope Drops to decrease wait times. One day start with Joy/Sadness and the other start with Test Track. One day FP+ Soarin and the other FP+ the new Frozen ride.

The other option(s) is to prepare for longer waits or accept you won't see it all on this trip.

It was reported that the Sum of All Thrills CM's were reassigned back on May 27th.
