I always get the Grey Goose Lemonade Slush at the France kiosk but I'd like to try something new. Some of the alcoholic refreshments from the China Tea Stand sound interesting. Has anyone ever tried these and your thoughts???

China Tea Stand: Alcoholic Beverages

Mango Gingerita - with Vodka and Rum $7.50
Canto Loopy - with Vodka and Cantelope Juice $7.50
Peach Snapl - with Schnapps $7.50
Green Tea Plum Slush - with Plum Wine $7.50

Used to love the Mango Gingerita until I got one that hadn't been frozen properly.

Ohhhh the Peach Snaps!! :cloud9: Only 37 days until I can have one! Definitely try one, they are very good.

Also good if you like tequila are the margaritas from Le Cava in Mexico. Get one to go and they put it in a to-go glass if you prefer.

I'm going to be the dissenter. I love the Grey Goose Lemonade Slush. It is my must have at Epcot. I tried the Peach Snap- which unless I'm getting it wrong is the one with Oolong tea and Peach Schnapps. I hated it. I couldn't even drink it. I took 2 sips and threw it out. DH tried it before I pitched it in a trash can, and he didn't want it either. Something about the tea taste mixed with the schnapps taste was just nasty to me. There sure are a lot of people on the disboards that like it though.

If you get over to AK and want to try something though, I would recommend the Yak Attack they sell out of the Yak and Yeti's outdoor "quality beverage" window (not the same spot where they sell the CS food but kind of around the corner in the CS table area) The Yak attack is Mango Daiquiri, Bacardi Light Rum, and Wildberry Flavors.

Sorry to get a bit OT here, but I too would like to add that, if you're in the Animal Kingdom, make sure not to miss the specialty drinks at Yak and Yeti. It's one of the handful of places left on property that still has an original drink menu. I highly recommend going into the restaurant, bellying up to the bar and ordering the Shanghai Express (Captain Morgan spiced rum, banana liquer, Peachtree Schnapps & tropical fruit juices). It's freaking delicious.

On our last trip, we had a few appetizers at the lounge there and a couple of drinks. They even made a couple for us to go, so we could have some tropical refreshment on our stroll to Camp Minnie Mickey.

Back on topic, though. I haven't really liked anything I've gotten from that Joy of Tea stand, but if you're going to get anything there, make sure it's not the green tea plum wine concoction. Everything about it sounds like it should be refreshing. It's not. It is just straight-up vile.

Dang and Green Tea Plum Wine was the one I was looking forward to hearing good feedback for. The description does make it sound mighty refreshing. On to the next I guess, maybe I'll just stick to my Grey Goose Lemonade Sluch from France and hit up the Ditch for an Avocado-Rita, been hearing lots of good things about those. And thank you all for opening my eye to the AK drinks. I'm ready!

I really like the Canto Loopy.

Also at the AK, don't forget about the Dawa bar, they have some different drinks there as well and the bartenders are super nice.
